This was my second time at Markette and it was even better than the first. The cosmos were deliciously balanced, the pholourie and fritters were the perfect texture with great accompanying dipping sauces of tangy tamarind and scotch bonnet aoli with a kick. The peri peri chicken was well sauced and very juicy. The oxtail was extremely tender and flavourful, but the lamb was the star of the show. It was fall off the bone tender whilst maintaining its integrity. The rice paired with the lamb including bits of crispy bunbun is truly chef’s kiss. Additionally to the delicious food, is the wonderful service. Maya attended to us and was a delight. She gave opinions on drinks per our preference, and we were extremely pleased having utilized her meal suggestions. The host was also very welcoming and helpful with coat check. We will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is quiet. The music is great. The crowd is awesome. It’s a must visit.

Overall experience was a 10/10. Definitely coming back.

Always love coming here before a Rangers game! They take great care of you, the food is excellent, and the service is great, even when it’s busy. The craft beer selection is constantly changing and never disappoints. And Lou the manager is warm and friendly, and makes sure things are always flowing smoothly!

Camila is a wonderful server. Started with Lentil soup and Prosciutto di Parma. Shrimp Arreganata, Side of meatballs and string beans. All the food is AMAZING Some Chianti and Menabrea Ambers made for a Great evening! Thank you we will be back
