We're a Philadelphia restaurant blending Levantine cuisine with elements from around the greater Mediterranean, highlighting French, Italian, North African, and Middle Eastern flavors. Located in Old City Philadelphia, Tuna Bar boasts a relaxing, upscale atmosphere serving fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The diverse menu offers traditional and specialty sushi rolls, raw oysters, scallops, hand-selected fish, and shareable entrees. Tuna Bar offers a fully stocked bar of wine, sake, and spirits. There are no outside food and beverages allowed. There is a $40 dessert/cake fee for guests that wish to bring in a dessert/cake for their special occasion.

    If I could give 50 stars, I would. The flavor and presentation of all the courses exceeded my expectations. Even the interior decor inspired some of the dishes. The servers were not only great with the service, their explanations of the dishes were perfect. I think this is up there with the Michelin star restaurants (Provenance, Her Place Supper Club). I HAVE to go back now to try the ala carte menu.

    First time at this restaurant and it exceeded expectations! Homemade sodas were interesting and refreshing. The burger was well prepared and the fries were well cooked and seasoned. The desserts were excellent - chocolate torte and apple cobbler.

    First of all, the tasting menu was incredible. There was not a single item that came out that my wife and I weren’t blown away by. The flavors were amazing. They also offer a very unique and delicious cocktail menu (NA too!). The wait staff was on top of things at every turn. We’re so glad we picked Emmett to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We cannot wait to come back.

    We enjoyed our dinner at Meetinghouse. It was a beautiful evening so we ate outside on the patio. We tried some different things- shrimp cocktail was tasty and rather small. The pork (pork steak) and beans were delicious as was the boiled cod dinner with potatoes. Two of our group had the pork sandwich special which they enjoyed. We would recommend this as a unique neighborhood joint, worthy of a visit!
