Un restaurant au passé sulfureuxBaptisée Shanghai dans les années 30, cette ancienne maison close fut un cercle de jeu corse avant de devenir une salle de réception privée: La Villa Frochot. L'atmosphère du Paris des années folles redécouvert. Bien connue des oiseaux de nuits et des pros de la roulette, elle se mue, ce mois d’octobre, en Villa Mikuna. Auréolé de mystère, avec ses superbes vitraux Art Déco, inspirés d’une estampe représentant la vague de Kanagawa du peintre japonais Hokusaï, c’est l’architecte d’intérieur Morgane Combes qui en a imaginé le décor. Peuplé de plantes vertes, de banquettes en velours bleu canard, de chaises en rotin venues de Bali, de tables en bois clair de Thaïlande, de carrelage carmin… Le lieu se divise en deux espaces. Un restaurant solaire au plafond escaladé par la végétation, qui contemple les célèbres vitraux. Et un bar à tapas où s’attabler dans une pièce en rotonde à la bande-son plus rythmée porté par des groupes live d’Amérique du Sud.

Market was decorated by Christian Liaigre, with simple materials, including marble, wood, and leather.
