We do not accept orders for Afternoon Tea without prior notice. Dogs are welcome, so much so we now have a dog menu! (though we regret they cannot accompany their humans on tours). We serve the best Scottish food, wine, craft beers, ciders and of course our own Single Cask Single Malt Whisky made here on-site. Please as staff for details. This wonderful inn is located in the centre of the pretty little village of Pooley Bridge, only moments from the edge of Ullswater Lake. Delicious Sunday lunch. So nice to have different starter options. Thought and flair put into the menu. Melt in mouth beef. Fabulous service, polite attentive staff. You will not be disappointed

Fabulous food! The whole 3 courses were absolutely incredible….and it’s the kind of food that makes you want to talk about it! If you are a ‘foodie’ you need to go to The Stag Inn. 10/10!
