An Absolutely Extraordinary Dining Experience — Michelin, Are You Listening? The Wassweiler is one of those places. We ordered the duck and the teres major, and both were nothing short of spectacular. The flavors, preparation, presentation, and attention to detail were exceptional. Every bite felt intentional, beautifully balanced, and executed with the kind of precision you’d expect from a truly world-class kitchen. And then there was Jess. Exceptional service can elevate a wonderful meal into an unforgettable experience, and Jess did exactly that. She was knowledgeable, personable, attentive without ever being intrusive, and genuinely passionate about making our evening special. Her wine recommendation was absolutely outstanding and complemented our meal beautifully. She didn’t just serve dinner; she helped create an experience. What makes The Wassweiler remarkable is that nothing feels forced or pretentious. It’s sophisticated without being stuffy, refined without losing its warmth, and genuinely memorable from beginning to end. I’ve enjoyed some extraordinary dining experiences, and I don’t say this lightly: The Wassweiler deserves to be in the conversation for Michelin recognition. The culinary execution, hospitality, and overall experience are operating at a level that deserves serious attention. To the chef and kitchen: Bravo. To Jess: You are an absolute treasure. The farm to table meal was amazing - every course was perfection and the service was just perfect! When back in the area, I will most definitely return!

We had an absolutely wonderful anniversary dinner at GRL. The food was all excellent and we received smart wine pairing advice to accompany some varied menu choices. It’s almost surprising how close the Lodge is to Bozeman given how it feels like you’re on a full getaway. Everyone we interacted with was gracious, professional, and knowledgeable about their food and wine. It’s exciting to see a spot that’s been around for a long time getting momentum with an excellent chef and crew. Would definitely recommend anybody to give it a try!

Everything about the evening, from the friendly greeting to the excellent service and the delicious and meticulously prepared meal was outstanding. Having the pleasure of the chef visit our table capped our experience. Well done!
