Abruzzo Italian Kitchen opened in December 2017. As is the Italian tradition, our focus is on the quality of our ingredients and simplicity of preparation. We cook by hand, from scratch, including all of our fresh pastas and wood fired pizzas.     Great food. We shared the wedge - it was a nice portion with a flavorful dressing. And I had the New York and he had the shrimp and grits. Both were quite good and the portions were large that we had leftovers for another meal. We were celebrating his birthday so we asked for recommendations and were happily pointed toward the cheesecake with huckleberry sauce. Again we happily took leftovers back to our cabin. We will be back when we are in the area. A nice casual spot for great food with a menu that offers something for everyone.

    Best meatballs ever! The pizza was amazing - we got the Margarita pizza. My husband got the pork chop and said it was incredible! I enjoyed the kale pesto pasta with sausage. All in all, an outstanding meal.

    We so enjoyed our dinner. We loved that it felt like a nice restaurant for a special date night but also an atmosphere conducive to families. Can’t wait to come back!
