Margan is first and foremost a family owned and managed farm, established in 1996. Our restaurant opened its doors in 2007, where we offer refined farm to table dining and outstanding single vineyard wines set against the Brokenback Mountain range, here in Broke Fordwich. Our menu is hyper seasonal and built around all that we can produce onsite; from our organically managed kitchen garden and permaculture orchard, olive groves, free range hens, bee hives and estate reared lambs. Additionally, we’re proud to champion regional producers and we choose sustainably reared animals and seafood sourced as local as possible to keep our carbon footprint light. Dine with us for lunch in our beautiful, rammed earth restaurant, Thursday through to Monday. For the Ultimate Margan Experience, join us on an interactive guided tour of the Margan Farm, including our sustainably grown kitchen garden and orchard, vineyard and winery. Then relax in the Restaurant and enjoy lunch at your pace.

    We have been to Margan Estate before and are never ever disappointed. The food, service and setting is very special. We had a terrific Italian waitress and Chris, one of the key staff, looked after us and guided us perfectly with the matching wine selections. Can't wait to go back again. Thanks to all the chefs in the kitchen too!

    Highly recommend! The food, service & overall value was outstanding. Admittedly I was expecting the wine tasting experience at the cellar door to be a bit more casual-like, instead its quite “slick”, and feels slightly commercialised. Still, we THOROUGHLY enjoyed the whole experience & would do it again. The food & service at lunch was absolutely exceptional & i cant rate this highly enough. Recommend booking in advance

    Wonderful again, clean restaurant, food came out super quick, great portions, very tasty and great value for money, was freshly cooked and staff were beautiful and friendly. Cannot fault, will be back.
