Welcome to Emmett! We're a Philadelphia restaurant blending Levantine cuisine with elements from around the greater Mediterranean, highlighting French, Italian, North African, and Middle Eastern flavors. We strive to emphasize local connections, sourcing from a range of local farms to supply our kitchen as well as showcasing Philly artists for ceramics, glassware, and design, with the goal of cultivating community relationships and staying true to the city of Philadelphia. ​Chef Partner Evan Snyder leads the culinary team, while Managing Partner Julian van der Tak oversees operations.All reservations larger than 4 guests are required to partake in the tasting menu and place a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Serving house beers alongside wine, spirits & uncomplicated American bar food.We offer reservations in our dining room for PARTIES OF TWO TO FOUR people (please count children of all sizes as a full person). We can't accommodate groups larger than six.Only about half of our dining room is bookable – the rest is set aside for walk-ins.     Emmett is such a warm, inviting, and delicious restaurant! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by this wonderful smoky aroma from one of their smoke-infused dishes, which lingers in the air and makes the whole place feel especially cozy—perfect for a fall or winter evening. Our waiter was absolutely lovely—incredibly attentive, accommodating, and genuinely friendly. The food was outstanding! There's a tasting menu option, which we decided to skip, but we watched beautiful dishes coming out of the kitchen, and everyone around us seemed just as delighted as we were. The tuna was exceptional, the pasta was delicious, and the hanger kebab was a standout! The meat was so juicy, flavorful, and tender that it practically melted in our mouths. We were far too full for dessert, but that's just another reason to return! Highly recommend Emmett for a cozy evening and a truly delicious meal!

    All of the food was delicious - the staff was incredibly accommodating of a vegan dietary restriction in our group and we are so grateful they (especially our server) took the time to check ingredients for us. It made the experience really wonderful. Thank you!
