Lark is a lovely restaurant and the menu has some delicious seasonal options. While I was prepared for the prices, I was disappointed at the portion sizes. I think everything was 25% smaller than it should be. We ordered cocktails at $25 each and I think each cocktail was maybe 4 oz. I've never seen such a small amount in a cocktail. Not worth the cost when comparable restaurants would have similar drinks for $15 -$18 for the same thing (but 5-6 oz). The seasonal $18 salad was delicious, but was not an adequate share size. The $54 entrees were delicious, albeit on the small size. Overall, we enjoyed the restaurant experience there, but not sure if we will prioritize going back anytime soon.

The service was pretty good, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the fine dining atmosphere. We ordered the tortilla soup, the wild salmon and the lamb, and none of the dishes tasted as refined as the price and setting suggest. The presentation also felt more casual than fine dining.

Wonderful food paired with excellent service! The ambience was great allowing for conversation without significant background noise. Would highly recommend!

The positive: Our server. Attention to allergies. The neutral: Food (it was OK), location (parking is hard) The bad: Pricing. Yikes. $25 for a cocktail? Also, $50 for an entree is just outrageous. Nothing served on a plate that small should be $50 The disappointing: No recognition of our anniversary. What’s the point of adding notes if no one looks, or bothers to care? Won’t be returning, especially with so many other Seattle options.

came here for a birthday dinner. very cool vibe, beautiful restaurant. good service. food was extremely disappointing. I ordered oysters to pair with champagne….the quantity of oysters was very generous but they were not tasty. they weren’t ‘bad’ but the preparation was not good at all. all the 4 main courses we ordered were tasty but all came like warm / tepid. the best part of the meal was the bread service!! 2 of us had the spaghettini - solid flavors (nothing exceptional) but barely warm. others ordered lamb and steak - good quantity, presentation and flavors but also served at room temp. our server was very kind - they did comp our 4 drinks & 2 glasses of wine which was nice. disappointing, not sure I would go back.

Both the food and the service were excellent. I sat at the bar and made quick friends with the people sitting next to me, as well as the bartender. I particularly enjoyed the hamachi crudo and the tortilla soup.
