Whenever possible, the Rustica kitchen staff utilizes items that are locally grown or made to create unique and flavorful dishes. Rustica features dishes that have been inspired from countries across Europe such as Spain, Italy and France among many others. Rustica's entrées are divided between two sections: the first features pasta and grain dishes while the second is more traditional dinner plates. Food was excellent with a good selection for vegetarians and vegans alike, even dessert. Are waitress was super efficient and fun. To top it off the food came out quickly and several last minute requests were accommodated without complaint. Unpretentious food and service, can’t go wrong.

Our waitstaff Casey was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Also other staff members were very helpful too. Lovely presentation of our entrees (lamb shank, pasta), salad, and dessert (brownie was great!). Would highly recommend.

Great service from the door to the table. The recommendations and service provided by Anna were spectacular! I enjoyed the Caesar salad, scallops, potatoes. The Apple Pie with an Americano was the finishing touch of a fabulous evening.

Second visit to this establishment and it was even better than the excellent first visit. Unique preparations of fresh apps and entrees. Excellent cocktails, superior service, and a great vibe. I won't visit Kalamazoo without enjoying a meal at this restaurant.
