The pub is set in the beautiful Kentish Countryside with open log fires and a fantastic beer garden, where you can unwind and enjoy one of our selection of well kept cask ales or something from our extensive wine list.Our menu offers simple hearty British Gastro food and we pride ourselves on sourcing the finest local produce from local suppliers. We serve food all day at The Little Brown Jug so you can choose to have a late lunch or early dinner during the summer, even breakfast over the weekends whilst you enjoy the warm, relaxed and informal atmosphere. We do run reduced hours during the winters months so please check our website. We have made fantastic additions to are garden area with extra Tiki huts and a beautiful covered patio area. You can let the train take the strain as Penshurst train station is directly across the road from the pub.

When booking a table in the evening, please be aware that we are a residential home and as such we ask that guests depart the restaurant by 09:00pm and have consideration for our neighbor's when leaving. We also ask guests to call 48 hours before booking if the table is for 6 people and above, so we can organise a preorder before your arrival. We have tables situated outside for those with dogs as we only allow guide dogs within the restaurant. Please be aware when visiting that there is a security gate on entry, the code for which is written on the gate, you will need to exit your vehicle to input the code. You will find the Pavilion restaurant next to the main house, opposite the Mews Houses. Ample parking available. Please be aware that our disabled lift is currently out of order. If you require disabled access please notify us ahead of time on 01732445690 and we can advise the best place to park.

Very good food. While they did forget one of the drinks which we later had to get removed from the bill and one dish was incorrect but quickly replaced, overall we really enjoyed our visit and the tasty food.
