Odyssey Restaurant is a little chunk of Greece transported into the heart of Chesterfield, offering customers a journey of authentic flavours, sounds and the atmosphere of Greece.Owned and run by a Greek family, Odyssey is based in the centre of Chesterfield town on 1-3 Knifesmithgate, in a traditional English building and what used to be known as the old Queen’s Head. The owners have managed to bring the building back to life by marrying old English and Greek tradition, maintaining the beauty of the building, but also enhancing it with sites and the aroma of Greece.Among the many menu choices, one can find lovely Greek salad (horiatiki) to chicken, pork, vegetable or prawn skewers or a classic moussaka, rabbit stifado or meatballs with goat’s cheese. We have a great chefs who make the most of all the fabulous produce that the local area has to offer.Where possible we always look to source locally from the Peak District and Derbyshire making the most of seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as locally reared meat and locally produced dairy. We follow the seasons closely to offer food that is fresh and appropriate to the time of year, providing full flavours that will satisfy the heartiest appetite.In addition to our regular menus, we also offer a specials board that changes on a regular basis, featuring an extra selection of starters, main courses, and desserts. Great service! The steaks sirloin and ribeye were amazing great taste, really good portion and the accompaniments jacket potato and fat chips were really good. The value on the Facebook offer! Was amazing we will definitely be visiting again to try out your Sunday lunch

The food was delicious, a good selection to choose from . The two for £23 , cottage pie and fish and chips were our choice and did not disappoint. We ordered from the bar, but table service is available . A nice relaxed ambiance made a perfect week date night .
