   I would have given 5 stars were it not for the incredible noise level. The conversational noise was overwhelming with even just half of the tables occupied. There is nothing to absorb the noise. They could install roof absorption materials or fabric to tone down the level.

   The food was great except my friend thought the squash ravioli was a little too sweet and my husband thought the meat in the spice pasta with vodka sauce had no taste.

    Our children had recommended it to us as one of their favorites when we moved to Houston a few months ago. So we went there to commemorate officially becoming Houston residents after we got our new drivers licenses. It was A+++ in all aspects and will definitely become one of our go to spots and not just for a special occasion. The pasta was incredible and we’ll try the pizza next time. And the gelato with espresso was incredibly delicious.

    My birthday brunch was today with a couple of my friends and one persons food came out cold which was fixed without a problem and taken care of thank you for that we felt our server did not pay attention to us properly we had to ask him for water 5 times and another ordered a drink that took forever to get as well I usually love this place which is why we came here for my birthday but this time was not it sadly

    Our server was Jacob, I think, at least that is what the floor manager said he name was because he never introduced himself. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for water, mind you the restaurant was NOT full at all. He seemed to be more interested is gossiping with his co-workers then serving his customers. We asked for straws, never got them. Refills, nope. Silverware we had to grab those from am empty table next to us. Not only was the service shi$#y the food was extremely salty. We had been a few time before to North Italia but we will never go back. I was bad.

    Why ask if it’s a special occasion for visiting if you don’t celebrate the specific reason? Seating our table next to an 8 top with 3 screaming kids made for a great evening. I could have stayed home if I wanted to hear that. Service was great, as was the food. Ended up going to another establishment to enjoy a dessert and after dinner drinks in a more relaxed setting.

    Great waitstaff that bent over backwards to accommodate us at every level. Food was great, wine was great and patio was a little cold but it was what we requested. I was in total and complete shock how 1 glass of Vavasour Wine was $16,50! We both got a glass and it was sticker shock for sure when the bill came.

    North Italia is one of my favorite restaurants as I dine there often. However, on Sunday my booth seat was full of small flying bugs which I believe to be gnats. The entire meal was spent swatting away the irritants.

    We love this restaurant when it's not too crowded and was able to sit outside on a nice evening . The food is always good, hopefully the price won't go up again the next time we visit like most restaurants!

    One of the meals was sent back because the salmon was over cooked. The other meal was slightly salty but wasn’t sent back. The food was lacking compared to other visits.

    Both Gabby and Estella helped us very much, the seating was great and the food was delicious. There was plenty of options to choose from and will come back to try more !!
