Number 16 Restaurant
Wonderful meal to celebrate my partners birthday. Food was tasty and imaginative. Service was fantastic and we didn't feel rushed. Lovely quiet ambience.
Delicious "new British" food served in a cosy setting. Staff are friendly, well informed and not intrusive.
Excellent food (quality and variety) served in a very pleasant, cosy and informal atmosphere.
Very nice meal and prompt service. Small restaurant in an interesting setting.
Lovely meal and friendly, attentive service. Have now had 3 visit and never been disappointed
Really really good meal. Food was excellent. Staff were lovely and venue was cosy.
Our third trip to Glasgow and our third visit to No. 16. As always the food was excellent and the staff friendly and welcoming. I particularly like the wine list which is far more innovative than most and also very reasonably priced. We will be back.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, we were shown to our table quickly and the waiting staff were very efficient with our order. The food was fantastic, very presentable and very tasty and the drinks menu had plenty to offer. Would definitely return.
another visit to no.16 never fails to impress, great menu something for everyone , will be back.
As usual great meal out with friends, made to feel so welcome with superb food and wine.
Lovely meal and good service. The hake was delicious.
Great Christmas Evening dinner for 4 of us. Waitress was efficient, friendly and fun. Food very good. Portions sizes good. Been before for graduation celebration, great for couples , friends or celebrations. Will go back
Excellent find. Loved it. If I was a local I’d go regularly.
As ever excellent food, but slightly spoiled by 5 individuals who seemed to be indulging in a shouting competition; what is it that makes people think that every aspect of their life should be boasted about?
Simply the best restaurant in Glasgow . Great food, service and ambience every time. Don't ever change !!
We had a lovely Christmas lunch here. The duck terrine was tasty and I had the turkey which was delicious. The dessert was different but absolutely my favourite course. Very friendly staff and excellent service.
Great find. Service excellent as was the food . Will be back. Had festive menu look forward to trying main menus
Enjoyed our Christmas lunch here. We have visited several times and are never disappointed with the food, the service and the ambience of the restaurant. Portion sizes are spot on, my turkey was delicious and my wife's cod dish was cooked perfectly. Looking forward to our next visit.
Always food and service outstanding. Menu varied and creative and as usual cannot wait for next visit.
First class. Food was exceptional. Customer service was an example for all. Special mention and thanks to Susanne.
Fantastic from start to finish and one of our favourite restaurants in Glasgow.
I really enjoyed this restaurant, staff were very enthusiastic and knew the menu well. I will be returning .
Booked in July for Christmas get together and certainly didn’t disappoint. We arrived 30 mins late due to Taxi trouble and they were very understanding (we had called to tell them) Food and service was excellent and would definitely recommend. Lovely intimate restaurant
Great food. Great service. Pricey but lovely for a soeacial occasion
Lovely food. Friendly, helpful staff. A pleasure to spend the evening there.
Fantastic food and the service was very friendly and attentive
Great food and customer service at a good price, will be going again
Great food and service, loved the Spanish inspired menu.
This was a birthday voucher from my son and we had a lovely time...staff were so friendly and nothing was a bother...loved it!
Great food, good value for money and attentive service. Small but perfectly formed!! Would thoroughly recommend this place.
Could not fault anything.Staff friendly and efficient.Food excellent.goid value for money
Despite the immaculate presentation, the food fell short of our expectations given the high prices and other similar restaueant. Our waitress was lovely though and the atmosphere was also fitting for a graduation dinner.
Very good tasty food. Interesting accompaniments.
Comforting but with flair.
Excellent, welcoming, knowledgable, helpful, friendly staff.
Superb service and quality of food. There was an error with the booking and staff could not have been more apologetic. Food was outstanding, beaten only by the staff!
Small intimate restaurant, staff were warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu, happy to answer any questions and make recommendations. The food itself was outstanding. Probably a bit more adventurous than I'm used to, but the quality and flavours were amazing.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fine dining in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere
This was the first timw we visited No.16 and it was fantastic. All 3 of my courses were delicious and the waitress was able to recommend when I couldn’t choose between 2 dishes. The restaurant is really small and cosy, with step free access into the building. Unfortunately that’s where the access ends as there’s no lift up to the 2nd floor and no disabled toilet. The restaurant is well worth a visit, a little gem in the heart of the West End.
Excellent food and service as always, will definitely be back
Was so looking forward to trying this restaurant after reading reviews what a disappointment! Brusque unpleasant server noisy and cramped . Soup started was nice salmon not nice and scallops average. The ravioli mains lacking taste thick pasta no offer of pepper or parmesan when requested reply was i will see what there is in the kitchen. Main course of pork - loin was chewy, cheek bon dry and pork belly portion was size of small fish finger was nice veg ok we ordered a side of deep fried potatoes - awful! Cheeseboard was left uneaten almost all in all a real let down wont return. Noisy background music in such a small space annoying. Am astounded at the amazing reviews posted on trip advisor for the restaurant and my daughter had given me a £100 gift voucher so for 3 starters 3 mains 1 cheeseboard and 1 coffe we paid £160 money wasted!
Never been disappointed at number 16, the food is always fantastic, cosy atmosphere, will definitely be back.
Out for dinner with my wife whilst at our annual holiday at our timeshare lodge on Loch Lomond , look at the site & follow other people’s recommendations & cannot fault anything, food service & surroundings are great. Will be recommending & with definitely be revisiting again
