Pacific Coast Grill's oceanfront venue features unique Pacific Coastal cuisine, an oyster bar, select sushi rolls, and a plethora of seafood choices, delicious steaks and more! There are two levels of dining at the new PCG with every dining seat in the house carefully planned to have an ocean view.     It’s lovely to dine in the outdoor, seaside patio with the ocean air and gentle sound of the waves breaking! Dan, our waiter, was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delivered with attractive presentation and tasted delicious.

    Pacific Coast Grill is our favorite in San Diego right on the beach. Love their seafood salad. Our waiter, Pete, was the best. Very personable an efficient. Will be going there again when we return to San Diego in January.

    Impressed! We went for brunch, had the Mar y Tierra burrito and the crab cakes eggs Benedict topped off with bread pudding desert, the best. The server and staff were beyond expectations, we will come back next time we’re in California. Forgot to mention the beautiful view.

    From the greeting of the valet to getting a car by the valet at the end, our experience was fantastic. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The food was fantastic and you can’t beat the atmosphere. try it.

    We really enjoyed our dining experience at Pacific Coast Grill. We had a wonderful waiter, but unfortunately, I do not recall his name….my bad! The food was great and the service was perfect!

    This is one of our favorite restaurants for a special meal. This night’s paella was not as good as last time. The lobster tail had too much grill charring so it affected the overall taste. Otherwise a good meal.

    You can’t beat the view. Right on the water. We were outside and practically on the beach listening to the surf. This is why we went there again. The food was very good and the two people I was with loved their burgers and soup. We ordered a half loaf of bread, and they brought one little thing of butter for 3 large men. I immediately asked for some more butter, which finally showed up halfway through our meal, long after we finished eating the bread. Same thing happened for the mustard and ketchup, when the food showed up, we asked for some of each and about 10 minutes later, after the food cooled down it showed up. There was no salt and pepper on the table and I finally had to waive a waitperson (not ours) down to get some. Even delivering the food and drinks they put both of them in front of the wrong person without even asking. Great view, pretty good food, and friendly staff, but they messed up so many of the small things that it became a big thing. I don’t know if it is processes, training, or leadership but they need some work to be 5 stars. I still gave them 4 for all the other good things.

    The waitress never came once to see if everything was okay and had the worst attitude. We will not go back. PS the manager was the only person who made an attempt to make us feel welcome.

    dined outside, had prompt, friendly service. enjoyed the dumplings. had a sushi roll, chicken ceasar, shortrib tacos, and fish & chips. all dishes were nicely done and everyone was happy and well fed. there was humidity from hurricane off baja, and a couple of drops started falling; the staff were right there to position an extra umbrella to keep us dry, and the impending shower backed off... we'll be back!

    Absolutely the best sunset viewing I've seen. The service was great too,, both the hostess and the server were helpful and made our dinner very enjoyable. Great drinks, loved the Hawaiian ribs.

    The food is good and consistent, some of the dishes are excellent like the poke tower and sea bass, the soups and salad are ok. But then there is the Dulce de Leche Crème Brulee, insanely delicious, teeth stingingly sweet and wonderful. Adam, our server had a wonderful attention to detail that was appreciated. There are only a few places in North country that can match the view.

    We always enjoy Pacific Coast Grill. Location is amazing and being on the ocean is always so relaxing and tranquil. Staff amazing, the Hot Rock is to die for and a must! LOVE

    I was disappointed a little. My best friend has never been to PCG, me several times. We decided to celebrate our birthdays together. I made a reservation well in advance & requested to sit outside close to the water. Our table was near the building & loud. I inquired about my request when I made with the reservation & we were moved to a different table, but to the 3rd row, still not where I had hoped to sit. I raved to my friend about where we usually sit. Shortly after, 2 women got a table where I requested.

    View! View! View! - Calamari was tasty, Seafood Paella was okay the lobster was over cooked and it needed some more chef love in the sauce- bland nothing special to note. Fillet was good size, over cooked and under seasoned sides were good. - All things are expensive for the quality of the items. Almost $45 for an entree, worth maybe $30 based on quality, temperature and service. RECOMMENDATION - Cocktails & Light Bites for sunset or ocean views
