A Sicilian by way of Chicago, from a family of Sicilian chefs and restaurateurs. He made a name for himself, serving Orange County for 30 years. Piccolino serves some of the best Italian inspirations in Orange County. Piccolino retains its Sicilian philosophy and passion for food by combining traditional old-world flavors and contemporary infusions. When Salvatore Faso opened Piccolino Ristorante in 2007, his goal was simple: to combine his lifelong experiences in the finest Italian restaurants with the finest ingredients, authenticity, preparation, and his passion for the Canyon and its surrounding communities. Piccolino Ristorante serves regional Italian cuisine, including artisan-made pasta, fresh wild-caught fish, and the finest meats and poultry on the market daily. Vintage décor, white tablecloths, and candlelit tables provide a romantic dining experience.

    Great food and wonderfull service. I would choose the veranda the next time for Happy Hour instead of the bar because of the noise level.

    Love coming here it’s perfect for a date night. I came to celebrate my anniversary with my husband and they put a little confetti on the table and served us complimentary champagne. We were both taken back by this thoughtful gesture. The food and service are always outstanding!

    I've eaten at Piccolino's several times in the past but this was the absolute best meal I've had so far. I ordered the house salad that was just a perfect blend of lettuce/tomato/cucumber in the most delightful dressing. I followed up with the salmon special that came with mixed vegetables and potatoes. The salmon was pure perfection! the seasoning was heaven to my palate and it was cooked just perfectly as was the veggies and potatoes. I loved every bite and since I took home half I get to enjoy it a second time. I highly recommend coming here if you haven't tried it already.

    Our meal was delicious! We had the caprese appetizer and the butternut squash soup to start. We loved both of them. Our entrees were the pistachio crusted halibut and the dover sole. The sauce on top of the halibut has great flavor. The dover sole is pricey and de-boned table side. It was good but I don’t think we would order it again. We also had several rounds of drinks and dessert which were great. The service here is always spot on. They check in with you just enough. I would definitely recommend Piccolino’s to anyone.

    Our experiences here have been excellent. Every time we go we get the same high level of service,food,ambience. This is a gem. Wow keep up the magic!

    This is my second time at this restaurant and I must say the food is very good. Both times I enjoyed it. The service needs improvement. Although they were very busy the night we were there but it took a lot of work to get our waiter's attention to get water, drink or additional napkins. Like 4 times before he showed up with them. Good restaurants need to be able to accommodate guests regardless of being busy or not
