Good food and cocktails. Been here a few times and never disappointed
Good but not great food in a striking setting . Quiet lunchtime so not sure if the atmosphere would have been better later in the day. Service was poor with one waiter who seemed more interested in his own appearance than our needs!
Great service.Got crowded after 7pm even on weekdays.
Good food, quick and friendly service
Lovely location in Canary Wharf overlooking the small green space . Restaurant itself is well set out and most table get some view. Best bit is that the tables are not too close to each other like some restaurants. Food was a reasonable standard with good portions. Wine list amazing with wide range.
Went there for the first time to have a lunch with my friend. The ambiance and service are pretty good, but the food was disappointing that day. The starters took too long to come but that’s fine as we were busy talking anyways. But the steak was a disaster, it was way too overcooked even for well-done not to mention that I ordered medium. It was okay in general but with that wide choice of place in Canary Wharf I’d rather choose something else next time.
Went here for birthday. Food was good. I really liked atmosphere. Each table has enough space from one another so it is open and friendly space but nice private space at the same time. I felt really comfortable. Staffs were really polite and nice too. It is rare to persuade me to make comment for this kind of platform. I would be happy to come back here again.
As usual, a lovely meal and good value on the Evening Standard menu. We were a bit puzzled by the choice of a red wine for the complimentary aperitif - please bring back the Chandon sparkling wine! However, they kindly swapped the red wine on offer for white. My beef cheeks were nice, but I was a bit overwhelmed by the quantity of both the beef and the mashed potato, which was mountainous!
Lovely ambiance, food was good bar smaller portion though tasty.
Absolutely dreadful - booked for 1pm, mains didn’t arrive until 2pm where my two guests had to leave at 215pm.
Never again Plateau and I have been dining here for years as I work in Barclays. So so disappointed.
Lovely lunch spot with the friends, food and service impeccable.
Camerieri gentilissimi , purtroppo tavolo vicino alla porta della terrazza con split ventilazione spores la testa per cui troppo vento . Filetto buono il resto mediocre
Stunning view of Canary Wharf, fantastic food with decent service. However the restaurant is a little cold in temperature and lack of ambiance music. But over all decent place to go.
Very first time and booked by chance but glad we did. Great bunch menu. Superb service. High value for money.
Great food and service
Main meal - Tagiatelle was cold. Portion - small (And I don’t eat much). Good ambience and better to go just for drinks
Second time at plateau and love it. The brunch is so good and the steak was delicious. Our waiter was also superb. The only criticism that I have is that my friend had the Eggs Florentine and it wasn’t only one muffin with one eggs, I would have expected at least two for the price. Would definitely come back!
We were there right when they opened for dinner. The restaurant had a great ambiance, and they were able to deal with our two kids who were not on their best behavior that night.
Went there for a brunch on Saturday, set menu was prepared with lots of options and very reasonably priced , staff were attentive, helpful. Don’t miss the cream brulee 👍🏻
Amazing hidden gem. A great restaurant for special meals
First we had difficulties finding this place by the address on the reservation ticket only. Interior is nice although not something fancy. I did not like the service, the waiter was simply dropping stuff on the table with no word. The hostess was very nice and helpful. Waiter's service is precharged to the bill so I guess they see no reason to struggle. Food was good even pretty good. View is nothing special on the 4th level overseeing the office areas of the nearby buildings.
Amazing foil great Gluten Free options
Whilst the food tasted good it wasn't presented to the standard I would expect in a restaurant of this standard. Service was somewhat chaotic. Were asked to sit at the bar on arrival and had to remind the hostess that we were there 30 minutes later as other guests were arriving and being taken straight to their tables. We were on a menu that included Bellinis so we would have thought they would have been served to us at the bar. Nope.
After being seated at the table for an age eventually our order was taken, maybe the Bellinis will arrive now. Nope. The food arrived quite quickly and was good, but again waited a while for the plates to be cleared. We didn't seem to have a set server it was whoever was walking past at the time. 2 of the servers seemed to be having a bit of a disagreement, which whilst it was entertaining, was not very professional.
Main course and desert was good (could have done with a sharper knife for the main though). We decided that we would have some coffees and liqueurs and deal with the Bellini issue with the bill, however it took so long to get a servers attention that we just decided to get the bill and go elsewhere for coffees. They did pick up straight away that they missed the Bellinis and took them off the bill.
Shame because this place could be brilliant but the chaotic service let's it down
The set price dinner menu was delicious and great value. Service deteriorated somewhat as the restaurant filled up but staff were charming. The A/C was fierce - we were rather chilly and in October one would have thought they'd not only switch off the A/C, but out on some heating!
We had a really lovely time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the food exceptional. We especially enjoyed the onion veloute and chocolate sponge, we will def come back sometime!
They were brilliant, great service and really nice food. Couldn’t fault it! Would definitely go again. Even the house red wine is very good.
I went to this restaurant for my birthday as my partner read some good review of the place. The place was really noisy - typical night out for (what we Londoners would call them) the city workers (bankers, insurers, lawyers, etc). But it's understandable considering the location of the restaurant. The service, on the other hand, has lots of room for improvement. I understand that their main clientele are the city workers, I find it rather annoying that no one brought us the menu or check if we want any drinks in a half full restaurant after seating us at the table. Five minutes went by, with a few staff walking pass us constantly, we decided to remind them that we need some service. And it's a similar situation after every course as well as when we tried to get the bill. The ones who served us were friendly enough. One girl even stayed for a short banter when she bought our main course. And the food was good quality. I would say avoid this place on a week night when you have to compete with other tables who spend a few hundreds if not thousands on drinks. It might be a lot nicer to visit at the weekends when the financial district is dead.
This is my favourite restaurant in London, the views are beautiful and the food is always amazing. The restaurant was very busy and the service was below usual high standards. We finished our main, 30 mins later I had to ask the staff to pls take them away. The staff weren't as attentive as they should.
Lovely food, beautiful views from the glass ceilings and great vibe in evening with a lovely bar area. Attentive service too.
Made to feel very welcome - ambience a little loud as a very large party in the restaurant but still enjoyed ourselves and were looked after extremely well considering very busy!!
Never rushed. Lots of Prosecco. Had a very enjoyable experience all round
Great staff even on an offer ! I look forward to my return :)
Great ambience and service
Evening standard menu. Great food, but let down by atrocious service in the second half of the meal. We were forgotten about, and ended up sitting with the dessert menu for 20 minutes before we managed to get someone’s attention. They took the desserts off the bill (value of £2 each) but it let down the whole experience.
Great setting for a business lunch, small tasty portions. There is also a private dining area
The food started well but declined after the starters. Overpriced for the offer. Go here if you want to be surrounded by Instagram types! Two young women ruined the whole meal by posing for pictures.
The food was nice and the service was very good, will go back in again.
We were here for lunch at Canary Wharf before heading to golf... to be perfectly honest the food was merely passable and the service as well.
The steak was served cold and although the crab burger had a good seasoning, it was served cold as well.
The service was too much (waiters everywhere watching you eat) and they weren’t smiling at all (all looked way too serious)
I wouldn’t complain because the value is good for London but would absolutely not recommend for special occasions.
Very attentive service, lovely food.
Beautiful scenery overlooking CW with a classical design decoration
The service is good and the tables being well spaced one from another it’s the perfect place for a professional lunch.
Food is nice even if could be slightly better
Overall great experience
