The food was mediocre for the price. Smash burgers were too well cooked and very small patty.

For a Four Seasons property restaurant, it was not near what we wanted or expected in a fine dining establishment. Rooms start at over $2000/nt., so, we expected the restaurant to match that high-priced quality. Valets were GREAT! Our server Tony was fantastic! He saved you as we might return ONLY because of him. I requested a quiet table on patio; nail was hit on the head with that. View could not have been better, unless we sat down in the rain. There’s only one wine on the lunch menu per variety. We ordered a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon — they were out. It was replaced voluntarily by restaurant/Tony, with a slightly pricier wine, which we love, Justin. Since there’s ONLY ONE WINE PER VARIETY, you’d expect a 5-diamond to have it in stock. Tony offered a taste to me of another wine, which I accepted…GREAT service. The food runner did NOT return with 2 small plates we requested from him, as 2 guests were each sharing their lunch orders. One guest had to finally get up to get someone. The fish (Fish & Chips) was way overcooked; obvious to the eye. My guest mentioned to Tony & it was removed from our tab, although, we did NOT make that request. So, Bravo again to Tony. The 2nd guest said the cheeseburger & fries was excellent! I ordered the Chopped Salad, and requested steak, which was not on the menu — Tony handled it & the steak was perfectly Medium Rare & very tasty! We enjoy fine dining all the time, had high expectations for FOUR SEASONS, but, this dining experience was subpar. We also do many staycations in the Valley; Fairmont, Boulders, Phoenician, Biltmore…doubt we’ll be booking anytime soon at the Four Seasons … REALLY disappointing!

Proof remains our go-to spot for casual dining in North Scottsdale. The ambiance, environment, and viewshed are matchless (e.g., the sun setting over Pinnacle Peak). We miss the old menu, but the prime rib was delicious. Bring back the biscuits! Patrick provided exceptional service to ensure we enjoyed our dining experience. Autumn recognized us as past guests at Proof and kindly stopped by our table to welcome us back. We will certainly be back.

The ambience is comfortable showcasing the surrounding natural beauty. The food was incredibly underwhelming. Will come back again and try a different menu.

This is a very mixed review. Our food was quite good although we are disappointed they have changed the menu and removed some of the classic favorites they used to offer. We had a 6:30 reservation and arrived on time. We were told we would have to wait because they were short on menus??!! We waited 15 minutes to be seated. We waited another 20 minutes at our table before receiving water even after ordering our meal. You know in the Arizona summer heat that is not acceptable! The overall service was very slow and irregular. Our server forgot my coffee with dessert (which was an excellent apple pie à la mode). Our server was very nice and attentive when in our section, but we think he may have had too many tables to cover to provide the service we are used to with a Four Seasons property. Overall we were very disappointed and hope this glitch was only because it is not in season.

Proof, a Restaurant at my Local Four Seasons Resort is that venue that one can always count on. I have been there for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner, an affirmation of that dining spot always ‘dependable,’ I.e. excellent cuisine, service, and a staff desire to please by filling a request, if possible. The ultimate compliment is that I have hosted Clients and Friends, and to a person, they were happy.
