My boyfriend and I originally heard of 37 West while watching WNEP's Home and Backyard. The segment featured touted the duck cheese steak as the signature dish. We then checked out the website and we're impressed with the options. We decided to make the trip from Williamsport in anticipation of a great meal. Upon arrival, the restaurant and bar was empty. After about 5 minutes a blonde woman came out from the back and asked if we had a reservation. I thought that was odd since the restaurant was empty and I knew right away something was off. She then sat us at our table where we were given a menu that was a fraction of the online menu and did not feature the signature duck cheese steak or the scallops and gnocchi which is what my boyfriend and we're looking forward to. We decided to stay and placed our order. We weren't offered any beverage aside from water and had to ask for our own soft drinks. The diet Coke was watered down to the extent that it was the color of iced tea and the Sprite was flat. My boyfriend then went up to the bar and informed the woman that his Sprite was flat. She asked him if he wanted something else and he said he'd try a diet Coke. He came back to the table. I then observed the woman pouring a large amount of vodka into a glass. I asked my boyfriend if he ordered vodka and he said no. Since we were the only patrons this struck me as very odd. She then poured a glass of regular Coke, not diet as ordered, from a 2 litre bottle and brought it to the table. Still curious about the vodka, I watched the woman return to the bar and drink the glass of vodka. After a 45 minute wait, the woman came out with our meals. The first to get dropped on the floor was my Shepard's Pie. As the woman approached our table, my boyfriend's goat cheese manicotti then got dropped on the floor. We then decided to give up and leave.
