Fantastic food! The wagyu ribeye was insanely tender, a truly special dish. The best was our server, Howie. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and really a delight.

I rarely leave reviews unless they’re positive, but our experience celebrating my wife’s birthday left me disappointed. When we arrived, our table wasn’t ready, so we were invited to wait at the bar. The hostess acknowledged my wife’s birthday, and we happily ordered a bottle of wine. After 30–40 minutes, she returned and said, “I’m sorry, we forgot about you.” We paid our bar tab before following her, but no one offered to help bring our bottle and glasses to the table. I ended up carrying everything awkwardly through the restaurant. A small detail, but it added to the experience. Once seated, we waited about 10 minutes for our server. His first two visits felt rushed, and we weren’t able to place our appetizer order until nearly 20 minutes after sitting down. Throughout dinner, he seemed eager to leave the table whenever he stopped by. Thankfully, the support staff kept our waters filled and cleared plates. The food was excellent, and we genuinely appreciated that. Having worked in hospitality ourselves, we understand how demanding the industry can be and try to give plenty of grace. Still, the service fell short. What bothered me most was watching the neighboring table receive warm birthday wishes, attentive service, and a complimentary dessert while my wife’s birthday went unacknowledged beyond the hostess’s initial greeting. With a bill over $250, this wasn’t about getting a free dessert. It was about wanting my wife to feel celebrated and watching her see the thoughtful treatment another table received. Great food matters, but how you make guests feel is what brings them back. Unfortunately, the service made this special occasion memorable for the wrong reasons.
