Our server Trinity was amazing. She was attentive. Took our orders correctly and made sure everything was ok although it was a bit busy.

I was running late, so I called to let them know. I was met with nothing but respect and understanding. The staff was so friendly and very knowledgeable about everything. My birthday celebration was one to remember, and I’m so glad I was able to do that without worrying about the food or service. I will definitely recommend this restaurant, and I will be returning.

We had an amazing time! Thank you Khouri and Musa! One of the best birthdays I’ve had! We went on a football Sunday! Plenty TVs, food prices were great and they have a happy hour menu on the weekends! We will be back!

There were 6 of us. Some liked the food. Others did not. Music was loud they seem to be going for a nightclub atmosphere. There were hookas and smoke. They don’t offer dessert. We may return for brunch on the patio at some point.

This place is great and I plan to return but unfortunately we got a waitress that was absolutely atrocious! Not attentive, seemed like she was going through something and even threw away the food we ordered after asking for a to-go box! We’ve been before and will return but she definitely ruined our experience. Overall, I recommend this established and the food is amazing!

I am giving zero stars on every level, because… I made a reservation for a colleague and myself on a Monday at 1:00. Not only does the restaurant’s own website show the operating hours starting at 1:00 on Monday’s, Ooen Table also offered and accepted the reservation. We showed up absolutely on time and… the restaurant was closed. Called the number at least twice. Machine answered. Paid $10 to park in lot behind restaurant. Bottom line, I don’t care if the food is great, this is a HUGE oversight by the management. Huge. Unforgivable. Will never try to return, nor will I recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ AfroDistrict exceeded every expectation! Our party of 12 had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was vibrant, the drinks were outstanding, and every dish that came to our table was absolutely delicious. What really made the evening special was our waitress, **Tiva**. She was phenomenal! Managing a large group is never easy, but she handled everything with professionalism, a positive attitude, and incredible attention to detail. She was thorough, attentive, kept our orders straight, made sure our drinks stayed full, and checked on us throughout the evening without ever missing a beat. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, amazing soul food, and top-notch hospitality, AfroDistrict is it. A huge thank you to Tiva for helping make our night so memorable—we'll definitely be back!

First off let’s start with the positives. I really enjoyed the food here! I had the chicken suya (the seasoning was on point), husband had the grilled salmon bites which were also delicious, and my friend had the catfish and grits. The grits were so creamy and flavorful. The cons: It was a little weird being given plastic knives and forks especially for cutting steak. Made it more difficult and was also cheap. Also, it seemed like lots of the food on the menu was out of stock. My husband ordered another dish and it never came…he said it ended up being okay because he was full from salmon bites so he wanted to cancel the other order. When we told the server she said that they were unable to make that dish because it was out of stock. More communication in advance would’ve been nice. The drinks weren’t the best. We ordered Long Island ice teas and they were WAYY too strong. Friends margarita also was a little too sour for his taste. Overall this place has lots of potential. Just upgrade the silverware, service, drinks, and keep the fridge stocked.
