On the edge of the Cotswolds, the Holt Hotel is only 10 minutes from Blenheim Palace, 15 minutes from Bicester Village and a 25-minutes drive from Oxford Centre.

The hotel offers 87 individually styled bedrooms, as well as a restaurant, a bar, nine meeting and conference suites, free parking plus free Wi-Fi. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, TV, free tea and coffee.

Guests can enjoy a set menu at The Holt Hotel's recently refurbished open-lounge or the oustide patio with a beautiful garden backdrop. Aditionally, enjoy our bar menu at the Highwayman’s Restaurant & Bar, which stocks a range of lagers, wines and spirits.

The Holt Hotel is renowned for weddings and has a licence for civil ceremonies. In addition to picturesque gardens and grounds for those all-important photographs, The Holt Hotel can accommodate weddings and evening parties for up to 200 guests in our function rooms or can arrange for a marquee to be set up in our grounds for up to 400 people.

    This is my second visit here and it was as good as the first. The service is excellent and the food was wonderful. I would recommend the Afternoon Tea to anyone. Thank you so much!

    Driven by this hotel a million times, as we are local, but had never visited. Booked Afternoon Tea for Father’s Day, there were 5 of us. We had a nice table in the lounge area, and this overlooked the beautiful garden court yard. The hotel was very quiet inside as most people were outside looking at the Vintage Riley Cars that were having a Club Weekend at the hotel. The sandwiches were very nice with fillings that included cheese and pickles, salmon with cream cheese and egg with cress, roast beef with salad. There were enough for us to have about 6 each. We had a good selection of cakes that included carrot cake, meringues, chocolate mousse, and lovely warm freshly baked plain and fruit scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Drinks included tea, coffee and iced coffee. Service was excellent, with friendly helpful staff. It was a very hot day. Afterwards we went to look at the cars, and then sat in the gardens with a cold drink. The hotel was very clean, with nice furnishings, and the toilets were spotless, all on a very busy weekend. We were very impressed and will be returning. Easy to park which is a bonus as we were meeting up there.

    A lovely afternoon tea celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday. Lovely food and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

    I enjoyed the afternoon tea at The Holt Hotel. Sandwiches were very fresh, a nice big hot pot of tea. The cakes and warm scones were delicious. The staff were friendly and polite. We were seated by the log fire which was very welcome as it was a cold windy day. Thank you.

    From the greeting to the food to the actual venue, everything was perfect. Highly recommend the afternoon tea here and we will definitely be back. Thank you for making my birthday special even though I was celebrating slightly early.

    It was fine , not excellent but either bad. It was the first time that they didn't let us choice the tea, very weird to me. Worth for the price

    Really lovely afternoon tea! Home made warm scones, good variety of cakes and sandwiches and a lovely little chocolate mousse. Beautifully presented. Very nice attentive staff and a very quiet area so our group could chat and be heard without competing background noise. Very nice afternoon an we will definitely be back!

    Was expecting much greater quality of food, I truely believe supermarket sandwiches and cakes are better quality. Service was good and the Holt is a very nice comfortable restaurant/hotel.
