Over dit restaurant

  • Charmant
  • Lekker buiten eten
  • Geschikt voor groepen
ALMA is a Mexican restaurant that celebrates Mexico’s rich culinary history by incorporating authentic ingredients and cooking techniques into its menu, while making modern modifications to delight Angelenos.

A unique two-story concept, the ground floor of ALMA is comprised of a walk-up taqueria and marketplace, which sells imported Mexican novelties and fresh ingredients, such as hand-pressed tortillas from ALMA’s kitchen. The fine-dining restaurant, located on ALMA’s second floor, serves authentic Mexican cuisine served with a Southern California twist.

Grupo Hunan's first venture outside of Mexico, inspired by Baja California's raw, coastal landscape, sun-kissed flora, and vibrant food culture. Grupo Hunan has been a mainstay of the Mexican restaurant scene for 30+ years, satisfying all the senses.

For us, being together is the way of life. We invite you and yours to come in, share some platillos, clink some glasses, and -most importantly- ENJOY the mexican culinary experience.

I liked the restaurant due to the ambiance and it was in The Grove. I didn't care too much about the food. It was kind of microwavable type of food. The black beans were delicious. The carnitas was mid and very salty. My son's fajitas looked and tasted like costco's frozen brand. Overall it was mid. I would not go back. My daughter in law got a martini and it was pretty and she liked it.

We celebrated my mother-in-law and her sister’s birthdays, and we had such a wonderful experience! Evelyn was our server, and she was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. She made us feel so comfortable, almost like she was part of our family! Her warmth and genuine care made our celebration even more special. Thank you, Evelyn, for making our experience so memorable! We will definitely be back! 🤍

I had an excellent experience at this. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the service was outstanding from beginning to end. My waiter Jonathan was welcoming, attentive, and professional, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our visit was how the manager Chris and other staff made my dad’s birthday dinner special by singing “Happy Birthday” to him and bringing him a delicious dessert! This thoughtful gesture made the occasion even more memorable and truly showed how much the restaurant cares about its customers. We truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to coming back again! Thank you to the manager and the entire team for making our visit so special!
