   Our first visit to Almost Famous NQ and it didn’t disappoint. There is a little wait due to everything being cooked fresh but you expect that. It was my daughters birthday so her choice and she loved it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Advised us to order fries to share rather than 1 each as they were large portions. Would definitely return

   I’m a vegetarian and I had the best veggie burger ever. My whole table were really pleased, very Efficient service, the food exceeded expectations. The only one thing we all agreed would be better would be for chips to be served with the burgers as they’re quite expensive for the burger alone! Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

    Thank You again for another enjoyable experience. Maybe take one table out from the back seating as I felt I was part of the date on both sides of us and I felt for them as they were wanting to be intimate in conversation however awkward for those around them (me & my partner too) who could hear the conversation. We don't mind who hears our conversation lol Great Food & Excellent Menu 😊

    Food was delicious as always. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a burger… although it’s the chips that make this place what it is! Also, I’m no wine drinker but my partner is, and was very complimentary of the wine quality. But for me, the service was fantastic. The young lady who looked after us was lovely and very helpful. The only criticism was the lighting. All the light bulbs flickered rapidly so we had to request they turn them off, which affected some of the other tables too. One of the guys said that head office supplied the wrong bulbs and they were still waiting for the right ones to be delivered. So please sort this out, and the experience would be perfect!

    Good and service were pretty good. The burgers, marmite chicken blasts & Mac Balls were all really good. Nice location with plenty of good pubs nearby. Only one gripe - why do they insist on adding a service charge????? I will always tip if the service is good but would prefer to make the choice myself. I will go back but if similar restaurant nearby doesn’t impose a service charge I’d probably go there next time.

    Really nice food and great service from the guy who served us. He originally forgot to put our order through but then realised and apologised many times. He ended up halving our end bull for his slip up and gave us a free round of drinks. We even tried to tip him at the end but he wouldn’t allow it as he made a slight mistake. Props to this guy and will definitely will be back 👍🏻

    I specifically asked on the notes pre-booking that it was my friend’s 28th birthday and I also prompted the cashier to sing happy birthday and it was all pointless because my request wasnt acknowledged. Also the lights above our table didn’t work so we ate in the dark. Finally, there is no hand sanitiser in the toilet.

    Cannot beat an Almost Famous burger, even better when they are half price in January. Staff were lovely and helped my 10 year old order a burger that wasn't actually on the menu. Would definitely recommend.

    We eat out ALOT and are always trying new places in Manchester and are often left disappointed. Almost Famous was amazing! Great staff, food piping hot, fresh and delicious. Fast service. Highly reccomend.

    We went for a meal on the way to a comedy gig, and we explained this to our server. He was really attentive to make sure we got our food in good time, without making us feel rushed. All the staff had a good manner and a bit of banter, it's a friendly atmosphere. The food quality was excellent, great burgers with a novel twist. I will definitely revisit next time I need a guaranteed great meal in Manchester.

    Work's do on a Thursday afternoon. Not the best atmosphere...I know it was a week day afternoon, but it's a pretty characterless place. My burger was just about warm, the piece of steak on it was like leather, making it a below average burger at an above average price. The sides are ridiculously priced for what they are, as are the cocktails. With a very limited choice of food at a premium price for what it is and a below average dining experience, I wouldn't recommend and won't be going again.

    Very long wait for food and drinks ordered to arrive even though there were lots of staff visible. The food was average and we did ask for sauces but this did not arrive. The food quality was no real difference when compared to a much cheaper than fast food restaurant like McDonald's

    We went there on January because there was the 50% discount on all the burgers. The trick is that they serve them with no chips and the burgers are tiny, seriously them are really small and the meat of the burgers is not great at all.

    Amazing waiters, kept us all laughing. Big shoutout to the south african waiter, didn’t catch his name. Food was amazing, best burger we’ve all had. Once again, the waiter informed us of which is halal and his recommendations.

    Waiting staff very friendly. Tasty burgers and good portion size. For our elder companion it was a bit dark and lack of hot drinks was a let down but fine for us on both counts. Would definitely go again.
