My partner and I had a great time at Alo. We were dining at their test kitchen as they remodel (?) their original location. The staff was having fun with the menu/drinks/experience as they were experimenting while they wait to move back. We appreciated Michael, Christopher and the rest of the staff as they treated us as friends. We will definitely be back!

It was an amazing opportunity to get a look into the research and development of the beginning of the next decade for Alo.

The Alo team just keeps getting it done. Every course in this special “test” menu was perfectly thought out and delicious. We loved the opportunity to take part in this experience. The service was impeccable without being snooty. Everyone is friendly and kind. Minor quibble was the charge for water but that was my mistake. We look forward to Alo’s reopening and will be sure to visit again. Thank you all.

Amazing dining experience from Canada’s top kitchen. Beautiful, delicious and decadent dishes crafted in the style of french cuisine ‘nouvelle’. Generous portions of caviar, foie gras and truffle sprinkled creatively throughout the well balanced menu. Everything was on point.

Excellent food (creative, fresh, understandable, detailed - there is a love affair with food here), good service (excellent table service, spotty wine and drinks experience), nice space but definitely felt improvised for the time ALO is down for remodels. Wonderful and welcoming.

We had the opportunity to join the Alo nouvelle dinner series. Being homage to the French cuisine of the 60s and the 70s and classics never tasted so refined so delicious so well executed thank you for the phenomenal meal.
