ANCESTRAL CULINARY EXPERIENCE is not a regular restaurant.

We serve one thing: an immersive dining experience dedicated to the ancestral cuisine of the pre-Columbian Caribbean, the Taino world before 1492. There is no a la carte menu.

Every guest joins the same journey: one communal table, eight guests per seating, a succession of courses that trace the eight moons of Kiskeya. You awaken each course yourself, a projection, a story, and the dish that belongs to it. Every plate is built on native ingredients and techniques, centered on the flavors of Kiskeya rather than fusion or contemporary trends, and rooted in more than three years of research into Taino heritage.

It is a complete multi-course experience; no guest leaves hungry. A welcome cocktail is included. We accommodate most dietary restrictions when noted at booking.

This is the only way we serve. ANCESTRAL CULINARY EXPERIENCE is not a conventional dinner, it is a complete immersive experience: one communal table, eight guests, a journey backward through the eight moons of Kiskeya. A succession of courses built on the native ingredients and techniques of the pre-Columbian Caribbean, each one awakened by you, with its own story. You will not leave hungry. A welcome cocktail is included, and we adapt to most dietary restrictions, just tell us when you book. Please arrive on time; the experience begins together, as one seating. My wife and I had one of the best evenings we've had in a long time. Every dish came with a piece of Taíno history, and it all connected in a way I've never seen before. Beautiful presentation, wonderful flavors, and a staff that clearly loves what they do. Everything was PERFECT! Highly recommend, but book ahead because there are only 8 seats.

I really enjoyed my experience. I celebrated by birthday there and they surprised me with a candle in my dessert and sang to me. Very special moment. It’s the little things that make someone’s day. 10/10

Ancestral Culinary Experience completely exceeded my expectations. I knew it would be unique, but I wasn’t expecting to be so immersed from beginning to end. The way they engage all five senses throughout the experience makes it feel truly magical. It isn’t just dinner, it’s a journey through time! I loved learning about Taíno culture, history, and customs. Every course felt intentional, and the flavors, textures, and presentation gave you this incredible little window into the past while still being absolutely delicious. Every bite surprised me in the best way. The staff made the experience even more special. Everyone was so welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they love sharing this story, and that passion comes through in every part of the evening. They were also very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and every detail adds to the atmosphere. And if you go, do yourself a favor and order the passion fruit mocktail. It is an absolute must-try. This is one of those experiences I already can’t wait to do again.

What a fun and different experience. A thoughtful and engaging dinner that taught about the origins of the Dominican people. Food was outstanding and unique. Great cultural experience. Up to 8 people total learning about Taino culture and cuisine. Before the dinner, had not known a lot about Quisqueya, the name of Hispaniola before the Spanish. The highlighted food during our 8 course experience was yucca, which was delicious in the many forms. Carmen, the narrator and hostess, was informative and charming. A bit expensive but worth it. It can be hard to find in Google maps-look for Cigar Country Punta Cana. It’s adjacent

there’s no one doing it like these guys from the food to the story blown out of the water and brought to tears literally me and my family have been touched by these guys, every detail is important to this experience to the names of the drinks to even sourcing produce and product locally and native to our people it’s the next day and i’m still thinking about it. this team has outdone themselves and have made me feel proud to be boricua!
