Over dit restaurant

Geschikt voor groepen
Geweldig voor creatieve cocktails
Goed voor speciale gelegenheden

he word "Antigua" is a Castilian word which translates into "Old" or better yet "Ancient". We name our Restaurant "Antigua" because our Mexican cuisine is crafted from ancient recipes. The processes of crating our dishes has changed, but the flavors remain untouched. Always looking to preserve the original flavors of our mothers and grandmothers, is why Antigua Mexican Grill stands out for its original flavors.
We welcome anyone looking to explore the last flavors of Mexican cuisine, here in the great City of Algonquin.

We've now been to Antigua twice and both times the food was amazing- authentic, big portions and excellent flavor. Will return again!!

Very attentive wait staff. The food was delicious and fresh tasting. There was enough on my plate to bring home for lunch the next day. Will definitely return.

Really enjoyed the live music. I had the octopus tacos, delicious. My husband had the chicken mole also delicious. I had a drink with Malibu coconut rum and house made horchata, also very good. I’ve eaten here twice and there is so much more I want to try on their menu. Not a fan of their chips but that leaves room for the good stuff.

Incredible food. It was a little loud, but they also had a father/son duo playing classical guitar, so the noise level makes sense, and the music was great. They just need some more drinks on the menu, but I love this place.

The evening started with a drink at the bar. The bartender did not know how to make a cocktail.we ordered an appetizer and got no plates or napkins. We had to ask for plates and napkins. After receiving dinner and finishing the waiter never cleared a table all dirty dishes sat there for a while until we had to ask somebody to remove them. The meal was fair settle least however we will never go back again. Thank you.

Food was served hot and was very tasty. Everyone loved their food except for me. I ordered a grilled shrimp taco salad. Was very tasty but I asked for the grilled shrimp and it was not grilled. Only one white and one red wine available so lost stars for that. Everyone liked their margaritas.
