Life is too short short to be eating in sub-par restaurants. I’m not a great cook or gourmet but I’ve lots of experience in eating in restaurants, many in Italy. I cannot recommend this restaurant. We doubt if the stuffed clams contained clams (here I am an expert, having dug, prepared, and eaten 1000s over the years). The veal appeared to be breaded and deep fried. While the staff was friendly and the service quick, there are many better restaurants in town….read the reviews.

Food and drinks were not good. Need to improve quality of food, preparation. Service was good. Waiter did not charge for poorly prepared drink.

I live in the neighborhood and this is my go-to Italian restaurant. (Yes, I can easily walk to the North End, but this is closer.) The service is always friendly and efficient. Yes it's a cliche, but they always treat you like family. On my latest visit, I had the Veal Parm, which is always excellent. Their Chicken Caccitore is also amazing! I brought friends from out-of-town and they loved the food and experience too.

Veal Pietro is my favorite. Chicken parm also delicious. They mix a great cocktail. Great neighborhood place!

Meh. I’m surprised this restaurant has 4.74 stars. The food was just ok. Restaurant was a bit rundown. The server was well-intentioned, but abrasive. Nothing terrible happened, but not a great Italian restaurant.
