Our kitchen serves simple, honest food that reflects a devotion to quality and responsibility made possible by partnerships with like-minded farmers, artisans and growers who provide products that are sustainably sourced, whenever possible.

Art and Soul exudes true warmth and hospitality. Playful regional elements such as hand-painted farm signs and traditional folk art are also used throughout the space in honor of the D.C. restaurants regional influences. In warmer weather, an expansive front patio provides an al fresco dining option with a fire-pit and grill.

Reconnected with a good friend during HU Homecoming weekend & decided to drop in for a sure fire tasty meal. This was my second time dining brunch at this restaurant so I went with the buttermilk chicken & waffles entree (I had the French toast on my first visit & truly loved it). My friend ordered the rib eye steak & eggs with potatoes (I had some and it was delicious). The ambiance and service were on point yet again. Art and Soul is on my favorite DC restaurant list for sure!!

We had a wonderful evening. I had forgotten how great the food and service was. We will definitely be back. Angel was a fantastic server. Great evening!

Never been and won’t be going back. Food (Turkey BLT and my companion had the Crabcake sandwich), both recommended by the Server rated about on par with a school cafeteria lunch. Bread was soggy and over dressed. Fries were undercooked and over seasoned. I get that it’s attached to a hotel and that 20 years ago a lot of hotel restaurants sucked, but hotels have upped their restaurant game here’s hoping Yotel does soon.

Upon entering the ambience was amazing and aesthetically pleasing. The food was very good and the service with KC was good. The manager Jay was very personable and friendly. The chef was knowledgeable and very curated with his skills. Parking is problematic, overall the entire experience was very nice.

I had great experience, they were very accommodating for me and my fiancé anniversary.The food and drinks were amazing. The server was very attentive and friendly, same with the bartender and host.

Great experience from start to finish! The service was on point, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth coming back for. Great food, great service, and an overall enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Greeted with a warm welcome from host staff waiter (Angel) provided adequate service but was unable to split our bill (party of 10 w separate business accounts). Manager was able to accommodate. Also, waiter seemed to be the only one one duty.
