Ava Kro was outstanding. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the ambiance was attractive and quiet, and the price was reasonable. It's a little out of the way, but not much, and was by far the best restaurant at which we dined in the three days we were in Los Angeles. I recommend it without any hesitation.

Excellent dining experience ! Food was amazing. The staff was awesome. The ambiance was as described in reviews - very romantic and calm. We had our Valentine's Day dinner here and it was a night to remember. LOVED Ava Kro !!!

Outstanding! The service was fantastic. Kudos to Majeed our server who was so on point. The rainbow salad was fantastic and the falafel was so fresh. I really loved the schnitzel, but my absolute favorite was a filet mignon. It was perfect. The restaurant is on the very top of the mountain on Bel Air with a beautiful sunset view. Great place for a date or a gathering.

I would skip. The place was almost entirely empty and for good reason. The food was meh and expensive. The wine was terrible. The service was excellent, but there was also 4 people including us in the restaurant. There was another person which I can only assume was the owner, weirdly sprawled out on the armchair in the entry way.

The menu online was very varied so we didn’t know what to expect but our food was fabulous! They had something for every tastebud and we especially were looking for Scandinavian food which you get very seldom. My Swedish meatballs were delicious and served beautifully! The interior was wonderful too and we were very impressed. We will definitely go back. Please support this restaurant because many have failed in the same location! You’ll find it’s definitely worthwhile.

Inviting and warm ambiance. The food was beautifully presented and more importantly, very delicious. Great service. Convenient free parking. A must try. Five stars!

The food and service was AMAZING! The staff was very accommodating and attentive! It was the most delicious food we’ve had in awhile, worth the 1.5hr drive for husband and I! Great hidden gem!

My husband and I had an incredible dinner date at this restaurant. From the service to the food, everything was a 20/10. Highly recommend getting their Swedish meatballs, miso salmon and pecan pie with brown butter ice cream.
