I was really excited to try Avenue Sky Lounge, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue was the service. Our waitress was incredibly rude and unpleasant throughout our visit, which honestly ruined the entire experience. Interestingly, her attitude completely changed when it was time to pay the bill and leave a tip. The sudden friendliness after such poor service felt very disingenuous. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t much better, especially considering the prices. We ordered the lobster sliders, which were advertised as being served warm, but arrived cold with soggy fries. We also ordered the chicken sticks. They were four tiny chicken strips that looked and tasted like something you’d get frozen from Sysco, except they were charging over $5 per piece. For a place with such high prices, I expected significantly better food and, at the very least, friendly and professional service. The atmosphere might draw people in, but the overall experience was nowhere near worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely wouldn’t return.

Devon, thank you for sharing such candid feedback. I'm sorry your visit fell so short of what you were hoping for. Every guest should feel welcomed and respected throughout their meal, and I'm disappointed to hear that wasn't your experience. I've shared your comments with our team so we can look into the service concerns, along with food temperature and value. We'd welcome the chance to earn your trust again, and we hope you'll give us another try when the timing works for you.

Absolutely beautiful space, trendy and impressive. Drinks were pretty strong. They do small bites and appetizers - we did the crabcake, it was delicious. We went on a Friday and the DJ was killing it. Hostest and Service in the lounge was on point. The views of the city are incredible. We watched the sun set over Jersey and the City lit up at night shortly after - pretty magical. Definitely will go back - its a Tao property so there are lots of rewards and perks if you sign up in the app.
