Since 1917 the Bahrs family has been serving fresh seafood, big lobsters and choice steaks. Located at the entrance to Sandy Hook National Seashore, Bahrs Landing features outdoor “Dockside Dining”. One of the Jersey Shore’s true landmark establishments, it is truly the quintessential Jersey seafood dining experience!

SUMMER NOTE: We do NOT take reservations for outdoor seating. We have expanded our outdoor waterfront dining options. For a table see our host stand outside by the Tiki Bar. To order take out, go to our website. Also available for walk up orders at our host stand. Dock and Dine on board your boat in our marina is an option as well.

We went for Octoberfest, the food was delicious and Max our waiter is great! This was our 3rd visit and Max is always our favorite. Will be back soon!

Always a treat to dine at Bahr’s. The Oktoberfest menu is outstanding. Our server, Michele, was pleasant and professional. We highly recommend Bahr’s!

My husband & I went for their Oktoberfest menu. It did not disappoint. I’ve been to many restaurants that serve German dishes and they are all subpar. Babes however had dishes with authentic flavors. Being raised in a German household I was thoroughly impressed. We had the pretzel, potato pancakes, Pierogis with knockwurst & Sauerbraten. I needed the sauerbraten to be a bit warmer and they gave me a brand new dish of which they didn’t have to. So accommodating. I can’t wait to go back to try their other German dishes.

Food was surprisingly good. Fish was fresh and cooked well. We had local monkfish and also Cod. The clam chowder (my wife had the manhattan and I had the new england ). was great too. Would go back. Reminds me of old school places my parents generation liked. Nothing fancy but good food. Our waiter was funny and excellent

It was an unexpected surprise when we found out the Oktoberfest menu was available. We had the sample platter for 2, and it was outstanding! It really made our evening.

I have been visiting Bahr’s Landing Restaurant for 40 years. Bahr’s always delivers a consistent dining experience. It is very neat and clean with white linens on the tables, polished wood floors, nautical themed ambiance, and large windows with terrific water and marina views. All of our dinner selections were very, very good, especially the chowders. Restaurant prices have soared over the past couple of years and Bahr’s is no exception, but at least the quality and quantity of the servings have stayed consistently on point. Bahr’s still delivers a family friendly dining experience at reasonable prices. Our server, Mauro, was wonderful. He was attentive without being annoying; very friendly and welcoming. I will be sure to request his service for my next visit. Bahr’s Landing Restaurant for the win - every time!

Ordered a 3 pound steamed lobster. It was undercooked. Service was bad. No lobster utensils or bib. Had to get it ourselves.
