Great brunch spot! Reasonably priced items and great atmosphere.

Thought this was a bourbon bar. It was NOT. Food wasn’t great, ambiance was ok and server was “eh.”

It may have been an off night because one of my family members has been here before and liked it a lot, but the service the night we went was very slow and lack luster. For a 90-minute dining time max, it took us over 3 hours from start to finish to get through our meal. Beverage orders were wrong or no longer cold by the time they were served. One of our meal orders was wrong and had to be sent back as well. The food was good enough but I can’t even say it was very good the night we went. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for.

First time going to this place and I must say , it was amazing!!!!

Went for brunch - there were 4 of us. 2 were doing the brunch package, I was not. Was refilled with the brunch mimosa but charged full price for the watermelon mimosa I had originally ordered - and reordered. When the check came and I pointed that out, the waiter said it was my fault for not correcting the issue. Wasn’t very impressed.

Easy to get seated at table top of choice. Was able to park right out front. Burger was overdone but fries were great. My dining companions enjoyed their meals. Specialty cocktail was good. We’d try it again

The brunch menu was very limited for the mimosa deal. I’ve had better options in other local restaurants for brunch.

I didn’t appreciate being told that I had to leave because “our two hour limit was up” an hour and 45 minutes into our meal. If the rule is two hours, give us the full two hours!

Had brunch here recently and had a great time! The place was huge inside and out, the decor was pretty and the food was so good. The brunch drinks could’ve been slightly better when it comes to bubbles but overall the menu was great and lots to pick from. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful experience with Barley Mac. From the dry rub chicken wings, the shrimp tacos, Italian Pizza and Barley Mac Burger, it was excellent. Their Old Fashions were well made quite well. We will definitely return for the wonderful food, atmosphere, and great service!

We booked Barley Mac for NYE - it was one of the restaurants advertising a covid friendly indoor New Year’s Eve experience, so we assumed they would be well prepared for all of their reservations. We booked way in advance, they didn’t have a table to fit our party, and they ended up moving us to a table right under the air conditioning. I assume a bunch of their staff called out, because there was one bar tender and maybe two servers, and no hostess - so we sat for almost 30 Minutes of our two hour reservation without service. The lack of service, and lag tome in-between table visits, made it close to impossible to take advantage of the nye drink specials. One of our ordered was delivered wrong and the waiter made a scene about it with the busser, right at our table which was pretty uncomfortable. Understand times are difficult under Covid restrictions and such, but having worked in the service industry for many years, you always over plan on holidays - especially when times are unpredictable.. and with a nearly empty restaurant I was just really disappointed in the evening. The food was also sub-par, I really liked my French onion soup, but I could barely eat the steak on my salad because it was mostly fat and the romaine was mostly stems. One thing that I really enjoyed: the speciality cocktails. The mulled wine was amazing and brought me back to the Christmas markets in Germany, and the cranberry spiced Prosecco spritzer was so good. For being so short staffed, the bar tender really did work hard.

Barley Mac was very good. We ordered the mac and cheese which is good, just very over priced. The service was great. We went for our year anniversary and would potentially go back.

Great dinner and the servers were all so nice and accomodating! One of them gave a balloon animal to the baby at the table. She loved it!!

We went to Barley Mac to celebrate a birthday and we had such a wonderful time! The restaurant was lovely, the service was amazing because we had the best servers Milos & Stephan. The food was great as well, everything was lovely. If you’re ever looking for a place to brunch, please go to Barley Mac! The menu has variety & also, you can’t beat the service (ask for Stephan & Milos). 😌

Very good place for a date. Drinks and food were very good quality. The servers took very long periods between taking our orders though, which could be a downside to some customers. It was good for a relaxed date night though, we obviously didn't feel rushed! The staff wore masks 100% of the time, but they did not enforce a rule that other diners wear their masks when walking around. I recommend Barley Mac in general, but maybe not for the rest of the pandemic, as there was less social distancing and mask-wearing than in DC restaurants.

Energetic Restaurant with good drinks and average food.

Service was a little disjointed. Sat inside and they promptly sat a table of six (three couples) 3 feet from our booth - so much for social distancing. I won't be back until the pandemic is over.

The pizzas and truffle fries are absolutely amazing, some of the best I've had in this area.

Service was horrible. Staff did not know what was on their own menu and it almost seemed like they were trying to avoid us. Almost no interaction with servers/staff.

Salmon salad was delicious. Just the right balance of salad and salmon.

Pizzas were excellent but were delivered before the burgers came to the table so they cooled off. The medium rare burger was served well done. We let a server know and a new burger was promised. It arrived after the rest of us were finished with our meals. When we finally got our bill, we were being charged for the replaced burger.
While the food was really good, I can’t say the same for the serious.

Food was above average. Restaurant was chaotic because they had outdoor seating and I wasn't aware they would be seating people inside as well. We did make a reservation but when we got to the restaurant they informed us that the reservation was invalid. They had informed Open Table that they weren't taking reservations, even though they were available on the restaurant web site. Lots of chaos with service.

Would be a 4-5 star experience, but the service was super slow. We ordered a wine and a beer and it took 15 minutes because the bar was backed up.

One of the few places in Rosslyn that you can have a seated meal.

We waited a long time for our food. Our appetizers finally arrived and then the entrees came out a few minutes later. We had not finished our appetizers and were not ready for our entrees.

It was good, got a burger and Mac and cheese and they were both amazing. The waiter did hype up the short ribs even though there were none for the night.

Excellent service for a Valentines Day. Not rushed at all and food came out hot. Would definitely recommend.
