Beach House on Deer Lake at Boyne Mountain is open Wednesday thru Saturday 11a-9p, Sunday 11a-2p.
We are closed on Monday and Tuesday. We will close for the season At 2pm on Sunday August 31st 2025.

    This lakeside restaurant has great potential in that it has a patio overlooking the water. Unfortunately, although I requested the patio days in advance, I was told that day there was a private party booked on the patio. There was a lot of glare from the sun on the water and I was concerned about how much glare there was at the table the host was bringing us to. Instead of lowering the shade, he placed us at a table right near the kitchen and the sliding door that was used by the employees servicing the private party. We were in a main traffic lane which was disruptive. The door was left open on several occasions which let in some pesky gnats that would not leave us alone. For the price of the meal, this restaurant could do a lot better. My husband enjoyed the bass and the tiramisu was very good.

    Sat outside and the setting was beautiful. Enjoyed looking out toward Deer Lake watching people having a perfect day on the lake. The food was so delicious and the drinks even better. You have to try the French Margarita. You won’t just have one. Lovely place!

    The hostess and servers are so friendly and helpful. My husband had the prime rib special with loaded baked potato and asparagus. The prime rib was perfectly done. The au jus was so delicious, he wanted to drink it right from the bowl! I enjoyed the perch with arancini and green beans. Top drawer! We also split the melt-in-your-mouth tiramisu. Fabulous! Great experience at the Beach House! Lake view also lovely.

    Beautiful outdoor dining experience with live acoustic music performance, service was fantastic & food delicious. We played some lawn games after dinner. Very enjoyable overall

    Beautiful location. Great service. Food for the price was not that great. Perch was $40.00 and there was 3 little pieces, which was had a weird texture and fishy.

    We had a wonderful time, food tasted fantastic, and we were lucky and thankful to have Dawn as our server. Views off the patio near sunset were amazing and paired perfectly with the live music! For apps, definitely try the Venison Meatballs, Morel puff pasty, and their take on bruschetta.

    Beautiful setting and attached to the Boyne brand. Food was ok, nothing special. Service was terrible and very slow.

    Service was poor! We did not eat on the patio - we ate inside. I think we were forgotten- service employees focused on the patio. We ordered an appetizer but it came with our meal. Not good by any means!! Told server we did not want it but was given to us anyway. She took it off our bill. Food we ordered was delicious.
