Come and visit Western Loudoun's newest experience at Bia Kitchen. When you step through the doors of Bia you go from Purcellville Virginia into a touch of Europe. We offer both a unique menu of small plates to sample different creations as well as a full culinary menu. Our mixologists regularly create new cocktails complimented by a wonderful wine list.

Bia Kitchen is the brainchild of our Head Chef Shane O’Connor. Shane's attention to detail is apparent as soon as you enter the restaurant.     Wonderful upstairs dining with beautiful decor. Service was great and everyone made us feel as if we were a special guest. Downstairs bar looks to be a great place to hang out and drink with quite a bit of charm. We enjoyed the baked Brie appetizer, beef tenderloin tips and a Quail special. Food was great except the Quail and duck sausage did not push the envelope in terms of flavor. Fun restaurant in a wonderful environment.

    We dined on the Sunday evening following the Labor Day weekend, so the crowd was light. Ambience is great, dining furniture is comfortable, and I'm a taller guy. We enjoyed the mussel appetizer- more than enough mussels, the sauce was very good and the crostini a perfect match. We also shared the baby gem wedge salad- again, more than enough for 2. Our dinner entrees were well prepared, plated immaculately and the flavors were rich. We had the prosciutto-wrapped pork tenderloin special and the beef tips were off the menu, so the flat-iron steak was prepared as the beef tips with the pasta, mushrooms, spinach, etc. Our server, Tim, was attentive and every course timed perfectly. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

    We invited another couple excited to venture out to Purceville so we gave Bia a try. Reservation made on line says upstairs dining room. Upon arrival we were not greeted so we walked toward the back of the restaurant looking for help and a waiter asked if we had reservations and then sat us at a table in the bar area. Ok, no problem. He was our waiter. I asked about the specials when he brought the menus, he wasn’t too sure and looked inside his waiter book for notes. We asked for recommendations for red blend wine but he informed us he doesn’t have wine knowledge and went off to ask for help. Ok, no problem again. It’s clear he didn’t have any wine serving skills because he dripped wine with every pour and did not pour ladies than men glasses. Ok no problem once again… we ordered 3 apps to share. Mussels, ahi tuna and hummus. They were all good, mussels broth was the best, but only came with one slice baguette to sop up the broth. Hummus was on the grittier side, not smoothly puréed.Maybe it’s suppose to be “rustic style”?! Not sure.Dinner we decided to share 3 entrees. We ordered the special fish (Char) over risotto and asparagus.We wanted beef so we ordered short ribs but told short ribs sold out.So we ordered flat iron steak(not available either) so we opted for the last beef option which was beef tips over pasta eventhough we didn’t want a pasta dish and was told there are no substitutions.Well, that was a no go as we were told the kitchen actually had no beef at all.Defeated but ordered Char special, pork special and the Chile prawns on the menu. While waiting for our dinner, we asked for more bread to sop up the abundance of mussel broth. Server arrived saying bread is on the house.We felt like a manager stopping by to check up on us would have been a better way of service. The dinner entrees were good, nothing spectacular but good. We also got the side of asparagus and it was a limp swimming in tomato type stewy sauce. Overall disappointed but potential

    Such a gem! This place should be packed, but I’m glad it’s not for my own sake. Gorgeous lower bar and upper dining areas, friendly and attentive staff, tasty cocktails, and unique and well executed food from apps and entrees to dessert. 10/10 will be back.

    My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was perhaps a little pricey, but the food and service were great (quick service!) and we would definitely go back. My husband also said it was the best Old Fashioned he had ever had, and he's had a lot of them!

    Celebrated my birthday by going to Bia Kitchen. Bia was recommended by a friend and it exceeded our expectations. The ambiance is cozy and very comfortable. Our waitress, Jordan, was amazing and so sweet. The food was interesting and delicious!! We will definitely return to Bia Kitchen.

    Dillon was an excellent server when we visited BIA! He was charming, polite, and was well-acquainted with the menu. He made some great cocktail recommendations (I loved Strawberry Fields). The atmosphere was very inviting. I personally love a more bustling ambiance in a restaurant, it makes it feel all the more lively. The little booth by the door was excellent for people-watching and made for a great way to enjoy the evening sun streaming in. The food was fantastic! We tried the salmon as well as the grouper special they had. The wait was a tad long, but made sense considering it was a Friday evening. I highly recommend a visit there, everything about it was fantastic!

    Our dining experience was outstanding! The attentive service, wide variety of menu choices and atmosphere have made this our new go-to place for special occasions! The entire meal- appetizers, main course and wines were above 5⭐️’s ! We really appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the main dining area. Conversing without having to raise your voice was a welcome change. A true hidden gem in Purcellville.

    Don’t come here if you have any food issues or want to have a conversation. Our reservation was for upstairs so we requested to be next to the window and out of traffic areas due to hearing issues. We were put downstairs next to the front door and the bar with loud music overhead. The waiter stated right off that they could make most things gluten free, however this was not the case. I asked about the crab dip being gluten free and he went to the kitchen to check. He came back and said without the tortilla it was. I asked how one was to eat it and he responded “with a spoon.” I tried to encourage him to find an alternative to the bread such as carrot sticks. My husband suggested potato chips to which I said “no, I can’t eat potatoes.” The waiter brought potato chips. My husband ordered the lamb, so I asked if the sauce had mushroom because my husband was very allergic to them. The waiter checked in the kitchen and told us “no mushrooms are in the sauce.” When the plate came out, there were two large oyster mushrooms next to the lamb. The coup de grace was my salad. I ordered the most basic salad to avoid having any further special requests. It arrived and the first bite was good. Then I noticed that there were many leaves that were mostly black, rotting, and slimy. My husband and son both looked at it and removed the plate. The waiter arrived and my husband told him that the salad was not good. He couldn’t understand my husband even though he was standing right next to him. I had to get rather loud multiple times in order for him to understand. He then looked at me and asked if I wanted him to take it off. I thought he meant take off the bad leaves. My husband looked up at him and said “take it off the bill.” I was a waitress and have compassion for him, but a good restaurant will not put their staff in that position. My husband liked his lamb and my son his ribs, but it was my anniversary and I lost all around -except the greeters were very nice.

    My wife and I had a date night and we decided to go to BIA, our favorite spot for special occasions. The food was amazing and the ambiance was awesome! The service was friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. We had a great time!

    We love Bia! Food is tasty and well prepared. They have a really nice selection of tapas type snacks as well as entrees. Try the Taytos-they are truly addictive!

    When we booked our reservation at Bia Kitchen via Open Table, I noted that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, the hostess wished us a Happy Anniversary and we had a really nice seating in the upstairs dining area. Our menu was personalized congratulating us on our 25th Anniversary! The service and the meal were fabulous. I had Classic Steak Tartare and my husband had the Champagne Pate’ for appetizers. He had delicious Braised Boneless Short Ribs and I had Pan Seared Filet of Salmon for the main course, and both were delicious. We ordered two specialty drinks while perusing the menu, and shared a bottle of Pinot Noir with dinner, which we brought home since we didn’t finish it. For dessert, my husband had the Bia Signature Churros, and I had the dessert special, port soaked cherries over a cake concoction. My choice was a bit dry, but very good. I might not order it again. However, the evening was really nice and the extra attention we got for our Anniversary was special. They even gave us the menus to take home with us, wrapped in a ribbon!

    Had dinner upstairs on Sat evening at 6, restaurants was full and a bit noisy. However, the decor is very cozy and service was prompt and efficient. I had chile prawns with squid ink pasta - the prawns were perfectly prepared, the sauce was tasty with a bit of spicy heat but not too spicy and the small yellow tomatoes offset the heat nicely. The salmon was well prepared, but the overall dish lacked a bit of flavor. The limoncello cake was dense but not too sweet, and the whipped cream helped to offset the sweetness of the frosting. Overall it was delicious dinner and excellent service.
