   Parfait was quite odd. Braised steak was awful, def wouldn't choose to eat here again!!! Dessert was best part, and I don't usually eat dessert!!! And why this is addressed to John is beyond me, I am Sandy!!!!

   The breakfast was very poor. The bacon was so pale it didn't looked cooked and the sausages were over cooked rock hard. When the staff were topping up the food they were scraping it on top of the old food that had been sitting there and mixing it in. Turned my stomach. Very small selection of pastries and no cheese or meats The fruit selection was poor. Banana (which when opened were black), dried orange segments or grapefruit. Drinks were good. Lunch menu offers sandwich and soup, to then be told you can only have soup at dinner time. Also they tried charging me over £2 extra per meal until I queried it. they said I must be looking at an old menu. when they got the "new" menus, they were still overcharging me the same so they rectified it. The staff member at lunch was clueless. He didn't even know how to order scampi and was quite rude. Scampi and chips were good. but not enough for what your paying for. I would NOT recommend eating here Hotel was beautiful, flawless and spotless, would stay again.

   The chicken roast dinner was not very nice. The stuffing loaf was disgusting. The green beans rock hard. The chicken was fatty and the mash tasted like powder mash. The steak was so thin for the price. And the chips were hard and really undercooked. Would not recommend or eat there for dinner again. The service was rushed and when looking for a member of staff had to wait ages as no one about

   The wait on vegetarian sausages was too long. My family had finished eating their breakfast by time mine arrived and I then had to queue for the rest of the items for my breakfast. Not enjoyable at all

   Buffet breakfast had a lack of choice with many items unavailable. When we were leaving a second server was open and food was piled high! We’re all paying the same price and have to pre booking our table, so no excuse for a lack of food availability throughout the service session.

    Excellent service. Meal was lovely and staff very helpful Breakfast was very nice and a good choice. Couldn’t fault it The only one thing was the room was too hot but I’ve since found the thermostat so should have a better sleep tonight. Also asked for a quiet room and was very pleased with the room given. Would definitely return

    Food was hot service was great nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 4 days and ate off all the menus I would recommend the cod & hand cut chips from the daily special menu and the lamb from the a la carte

    Had a one night stay at the Big Blue and all was very good. From parking the car early as we were not able to check-in, to checking out was seamless ALL staff were polite, courteous and professional. Went to Blackpool as part of our anniversary celebrations and I pre-ordered a bouquet of flowers and chocolates for my wife which were fantastic. We got upgraded to a double deluxe room and it was superb. Really enjoyed staying there and recommend it highly

    We have eaten at the Blues brasserie many times and it never disappoints. The food is amazing, tasty, hot and filling. The staff are impeccable, super friendly , professional and can’t do enough for you. The prices are really good for the quality of food and the service.

    We booked a slot for breakfast didn't realise the rest of the hotel.had booked the same time, it was very crowded, loud and you had to queue. I asked for veggie sausages which were going to take nearly 30mins so I didn't bother. Veggie option was very very poor, I ended up with beans and toast. The potatoes were far too salty. Not a nice atmosphere, the food was below average.

    This hotel was up to our expectations. The staff were lovely and did everything they could to help enjoy our holiday. The main complaint (if any) was the car parking. I am disabled and have a blue badge but we were being charged per day to park our car. The bedroom was brilliant but I could have done with a walk in shower as I can’t get into a bath. Thank you.

    Fantastic Stay at this Wonderful Hotel as always! Staff are always Helpful and Friendly. The Restaurant is a really nice space and the Food is First Class. Great Breakfast in the mornings. Large Comfortable Room with a really comfy Bed. Perfect!

    This was one of the tastiest meals I can remember eating with more than generous portions. We had booked as a packaged hotel stay so menu was limited but looking at full menu should be something to anyone’s taste if a little out of our usual price range.

    Beautiful, clean, comfortable hotel. Food was excellent. The staff, from cleaners to reception & bar staff, were friendly & welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

    We ate only in the main dining room. Evening dinner was excellent with a very good selection of delicious food. Dining room staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little chaotic and noisy and we found ourselves squashed in a corner and having to squeeze our way out to get to the buffet. There was an adequate selection of food available.

    Vegan food wasn’t without milk so couldn’t have the vegan meal 🙄 If it is advertised as vegan, it should be vegan - not then altered so that two components don’t go together. Sat totally separated from everyone else, waiter refused to move us despite there being lots of room. We were only a table of 2 and sat in our own, cut off section. Our friends invited us to join their long table, this was refused. No vegan puddings. One waiter was very helpful with my dietary requirements. Food arrived but chips were swiftly removed as apparently they weren’t for me and new ones arrived some time later. Overall, a really disappointing meal.

    We had a buffet breakfast as part of our hotel stay. It wasn't too busy and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were smart and helpful always cleaning and replenishing the hot plates. Plenty of choice. All you can eat English breakfast items plus continental selection we were very pleased with our meals, really set us up for the day.
