Food was just ok. Bacon wrapped Scallop App were mushy and bland. Ordered a Diamond Salad, they forgot to put the Bacon and Cheese on it thats listed on the menu. Shrimp Pasta was good and Cowboy Chicken Sandwich was solid. Cool setting, but just misses the mark for us. Spending $130 for dinner we hoped to be wowed, but we weren't. Waiter was nice and his service was good. Unfortunately they only had 2 Modelo in the restaurant to even serve. Just a lot of little things missed on a slow Wednesday night.

I wish I had something more positive to say! We wanted to love our experience because we love Johnstown. The filet, ordered medium rare, was dry and absolutely no pink at all - shameful for a steak restaurant. The salmon was also dry and did not have any seasoning. Mashed potatoes were cold. The risotto that should have come with the salmon didn’t arrive until the meal was done, and it was just steamed Arborio rice - watery and not seasoned or flavored at all. Our server was apologetic, but we won’t be back unfortunately. I can’t see this place lasting more than a few more months.

We are sad to say that our experience was not good. The first issue was that our reservation appeared to be given away so the option was to sit outside, however rain was imminent. We waited at least 30 minutes for a table. Our server was good but lacked some experience although indicated he was a manager. The food runner was really inexperienced and would drop food off at our table in a rush even when we pointed out it was in error. The food was not good. The salmon was raw and needed to be sent back. The bed of risotto was mushy and tasteless. The chicken dish was overcooked with breading cracked and coming off and the chicken very tough and tasteless. The steaks were advertised at 6 oz but appeared very small. Baked potatoes were clearly overcooked and brown inside. Generally, the food was not seasoned at all so very bland and disappointing. The onion soup was flavored well but very salty. Meatball appetizer was very overcooked, and meatballs were falling apart into mush. Finally, we were not offered dessert but this overall was good as we would not have ordered. Very dissapointed and will not be returning. Generally, there is a sense of young personnel that need additional training or this restaurant will struggle.

Started off on a weird note when the first half of our party was seated and then when the second half arrived, the host told them we were not yet here.. luckily they looked around and found us. Then we ordered an appetizer that never arrived, didn’t receive our food all at once (when the server came back to ask if everything was okay, she didn’t even notice that one person didn’t have a plate), had items on our bill that were priced higher than they were on the menu, had different menu prices on mine and my husbands menus, etc. The staff seemed very inexperienced. Food was good.

All our meals salads, and appetizers were delicious and plentiful. All took home leftovers. We sat and visited for a few hours after eating and never felt rushed. Our server, Avery, was attentive without hovering and made suggestions. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and received complimentary delicious slices of cheesecake (chocolate and raspberry) which added to the celebration!

We wanted to try Black Diamond again...we went shortly after they opened and really enjoyed ourselves. The food, beverages and ambiance were good the first time around. This time we made reservations for 7:30 on a Friday evening. The place was not busy at all. The staff was not as polished as they were the first time. The food was okay but did not wow us. My friend had to send her baked potato back to be reheated. We spent $56 on a bottle of wine...and found the same bottle at the local Kroger for $14.99. It was good wine, but after seeing the price hike, I was not so thrilled with their mark up. We were given a piece of cheesecake and three forks to share between three of us because we were celebrating our birthdays. I guess the fourth person at the table didn't qualify to receive a utensil. With our tip we spent $390. It is very conveniently located for us, but I'm not sure we will be back for a meal anytime soon. Our server was great and did a nice job.

Good food at a good price. Servers were really nice. Could use a little more training, but worked hard. Bartender is super nice, but also needs some training on cocktails. We will continue to eat here.

We specifically asked for a table but when the host finally arrived we were shown to a booth. Hard to get across we really needed a table. Server was great. Drinks were kind of stingy and the prime rib was not the best. Overall it was ok but I wouldn’t go back.

Food was great. That being said for how expensive it is I don’t think we should’ve had to hunt down out waitress for things we needed. No salt and pepper on the table. Had to go ask for it. Then we realized all the other tables had bread so we had to hunt her down and ask for that too. She blamed the server but at the same time you’d think she would’ve noticed we didn’t have any before we had to go find her and ask for it. Over 200 dollar evening with tip which is fine but I don’t think we should’ve had to go asking for anything.

They were out of several items… fillet, prime rib and bread. Waitress was great and very apologetic but the restaurant needs to do better and have items they have on the menu .
