Chefs Lance Brandenburg and Cindy Amias have partnered together to bring their talents to Hendersonville to provide a fine dining experience with a casual ambience. As chefs at Brandy’s on Main we prepare every dish to order. We always try to have your food out of the kitchen in a short time, but we will never compromise your food by rushing the order. Please understand that although it may take a little longer, it is guaranteed to always be excellent.

Only the best aged beef, fresh vegetables and the freshest seafood are always used with an emphasis on using local farmers when possible. All of the soups, sauces, dressings and desserts are made in house. Our wine connoisseur and sommelier, Tyler Brandenburg has assisted in the preparation of our fine wine list. We hope that our local friends feel at home and our occasional visitors are treated to an exceptional experience.

Four of us went. One had the trout that she declared was excellent. Another had the French onion soup and a caesar salad that she said was very good. The other two of us got the grouper and scallops special, baked in a pastry shell. The other diner liked his very much and cleaned his plate, although he did add salt to the dish. I also felt I needed to add salt and was somewhat disappointed in my dish. I thought the fish was somewhat overcooked and there seemed to be only one small scallop. I thought the pastry shell would be lighter and flakier, sort of like a phyllo dough, but it was more doughy, almost like a thin turnover dough. Despite this, I really like this restaurant and they usually do a great job with fish and seafood; this dish just wasn't one of their best.

Brandy's was very nice. Food was good, but nothing outstanding. Prices were high for a good but not outstanding meal. There are many places that offer food as good or better for more reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Service was adequate, but not particularly notable. We tried it because we had not been there previously, and like to try new places.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere with the beautiful piano music, the excellence of the food and service, and the distinctiveness of the center bar all together adding to the pleasure of the evening.

With the live piano music and lack of acoustic dampening in the space, it was impossible to hold a conversation. I ordered bearnaise sauce with my steak and got a tiny dab, and the potato wedges were overcooked and leathery. Overall, the experience was meh, and we won't return.

Great overall experience; this was our third trip from Greenville to Brandy's and it did not disappoint. Excellent fish and pasta, great wine selection, great service by both the host and the waiter. Kinda pricey, but really worth the drive.
