Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes.

    Bricco’s was recommended to us. Food was delicious, glad we made it a point to travel here while in Boston. We got in earlier than our original reservation and so glad we could.

    Quality of food was poor for price paid, Baked eggplant came out as a sloppy mash, zucchini flowers were still ice cold but inside, calamari was underrated, and roast duck was served with out any Demi glaze sauce that we had to ask for. Cocktails were excellent and ambiance was nice but I was deeply disappointed by food quality and lack of manager checking in on our experience that night. I would not recommend dining here if you are looking for fine dining experience.

    The snapper was so good I am still salivating over it today. And the steak (filet mignon 8oz) divine. Hot. Juicy. Crispy. Tasty. The mash was lush but needed a touch of salt. The veg fresh and tasty.

    There were 5 people for a business dinner. Our server was fantastic. She made wonderful suggestions. Two of the out of town clients could not stop raving about how good the food was. The whole experience was wonderful and a great evening. The service was top notch and we were not rushed. One of my go to restaurants in the North End.

    Zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, sautéed duck in a sweet and sour sauce was absolutely Devine not to mention the Best French Martini I’ve ever tasted! It was a memorable lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the weather was gorgeous….Will be back!’ 💞 Our compliments to the chef and Bartender!!

    The food was outstanding. I had ahi tuna…best I have ever had. Others had ribs…they were great. Sea bass incredible. A little noisy as it was a busy place but it then quieted down. Glad we had reservations. The wait line was out the door!

    This is a fairly large, but quaint and extremely popular Italian restaurant. Reservations are necessary for dinner. The Octopus appetizer, which was very different from Spanish pulpo, is very tender with amazing flavors. Large enough for two or three people, I am glad we waited until it arrived before ordering the rest of the meal. My wife followed with the pasta special and I had the Pappardelle al Cinghiale. Both were amazingly delicious, but quite filling so we had no room for any of the unique looking main course items. I did indulge in a tiramisu and I am glad did. It was very different from any I had tried elsewhere and so yummy. If we ever visited again, we would starve beforehand and order three or four courses to share. I definitely recommend Bricco's

    Our birthday dinner was so awesome-great seat at the window. Food was fantastic and candle in our dessert was such a nice touch. Fantastic waiter who was ver attentive! We will return -thanks for making our dinner so memorable!

    My wife and I went to Bricco for our anniversary We had the most delicious dinner we have had in a long time. The Eggplant bake appetizer was wonderful. My wife had the Pappardelle al Cinghiale for her entrée and it was the best we have ever had. I had the Braised Short ribs, Oh my god melt in your mouth. Our waiter was a wonderful guy with a great presence around our table helpful but not intrusive. He actually brought a nice anniversary desert for us. The whole night was wonderful. We Will Be Back!

    Restaurant came highly recommended- disappointing!Servers didn’t know the menu. My wife and I ordered farfalle and Risotto. Both plates came with food barely warm. Farfalle had some pieces cold!!! Plus Wine not at proper temperature either. Not planning to come back!

    Seated upstairs. It was HOT. Doors upstairs were open on the hottest day of the year in Boston. Appetizer and drinks were good, as was the service. We were just uncomfortably hot.

    Always eat at Bricco when in Boston. Family member was coming from CT and running into evening traffic. The hostess said we couldn't be seated until all 3 of us were there. Baloney! Told her to seat us so we could have a glass of wine. Finally she did. Cousin arrived 5 minutes after reservation. Food and service was excellent, as always. But hostess could use some new skills. Not are usually Bricco experience!

    Lucky to have been seated upstairs and away from the bar which made conversation so much more pleasant. Even more lucky to be waited on by Emilio who enthusiastically discussed menu options, wine pairings, etc., and when I experienced a problem with my dinner, he handled it swiftly, expertly and, most importantly, kindly. I would go to any restaurant at which Emilio was working.

    Great restaurant when I used to go often! Two people at the table had extremely undercooked risotto(me included), and the crème brule was curdled/broken/inedible. Espresso martinis were a hit as usual. Was pretty subpar for a $500 dinner honestly.

    Food was excellent - we had the caesar, the braised pork pasta, and the sea bass and they were all exceptionally seasoned, cooked and served. It took a bit longer than we expected, but after we tasted the food, we realized why. Our server was fantastic and let us taste a few wines before choosing our preference. Even the bus people were amazing, clearing up quickly, filling water, etc. Was a bit loud for our taste - more of a fun night than a romantic night.

    Great food, fun atmosphere. Was nice to be welcomed with a Happy Birthday for my girlfriend and then it was forgotten and zero recognition of the birthday when dessert came. Mentioned to host/hostess before the check came and still nothing. Great meal, just don't count on them for a celebration. Disappointed.
