Although I love this establishment, the food was just ok. My husband said that his ribs could have been cooked a bit more with a little more seasoning. My Kung Pao chicken tasted like in a chinese restaurant, which was just ok. I starved myself all day and was hungry, so I ate it. This is NOT bashing, just my personal experience. I rather the food at the times square location better. What I will say is that the staff was VERY nice and accommodating. The manager, Shaddi (I hope I spelled it right), was soooooo pleasant and sweet. It did upset her about our experience because she takes pride in her role as well as in the establishment and she really wants everyone to be happy. I applaud her for that. It shows she truly cares.

Brooklyn Chop House was one of the more disappointing dining experiences I’ve had recently—not because it was expensive, but because the food simply did not rise to the level of the prices. I am perfectly willing to pay a premium for an excellent meal. At this price point, however, I expect some sophistication, quality ingredients, thoughtful execution, and at least one dish that makes me say, “Wow.” Nothing we ordered came close. Appetizers and entrées were routinely priced north of $20, yet the portions and ingredients often felt completely out of proportion to the cost. One appetizer arrived with tiny shrimp—the kind where you can barely tell whether they’ve even been properly deveined. The $36 lobster-and-cheese dish was perhaps the biggest disappointment: for something prominently advertised as lobster, there was remarkably little lobster to be found. I understand that restaurant costs have increased and that shrinkflation is everywhere. But there is a point at which premium pricing needs to be supported by a premium experience. Here, the pricing felt aggressive while the food itself felt ordinary and, at times, unsophisticated. The Asian-fusion concept could be interesting, but at these prices I wanted creativity, refinement, generous ingredients, or exceptional execution. Instead, I left wondering what exactly I had paid a premium for. The staff, to their credit, were very pleasant and attentive. A 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which I had no issue with given the service we received. Unfortunately, good service could not overcome the disappointment with the food and overall value. For the amount we spent, I expected to be impressed. I wasn’t. I would not return.

loved the ambiance. Alex, our waiter, was FABULOUS! My filet was cooked to perfection. Jury is still out on the fired lobster tail, for me. I think it should've been served with some cocktail or tarter sauce, or some other kind of sauce. Yet, the lobster was very tender and juicy. My Sweetie was treated exceptionally well for his birthday and the music was wonderful! We will surely be back!

We returned to this location after attending a birthday dinner here and enjoying it immensely. I made a reservation for our anniversary expecting the same experience. Walking in to the restaurant was the start of an interesting experience. The hostess was not friendly at all and started walking with our menus without telling us to follow her, which was odd. We sit down and our waiter is completely disengaged the entire evening. We had to flag him down a few times to put orders in. The food was amazing as we remembered, but something was off with the service.
