   Good food, unique and fun atmosphere, attentive staff, right in the center of the Country Club Plaza. We fed 11 people for under $20 each including tip, AND we had lots of leftovers for the next day.

   It had been years since we had been to Buca di Beppo. We were on the plaza to see a show with our daughter and granddaughter. Our 12 year old granddaughter was delighted with the atmosphere and the food. Our server Dan made subtle but funny remarks that endeared him to all of us. Overall a great experience and meal. The only hiccup was a slight drainage problem which was being attend to by some plumbers, leaving a slightly unpleasant odor. Definitely not enough smell to ruin the meal experience, just a little aromatic. We will be back soon.

   We had a great time. Wish the waitress was more lively. Seemed like something was wrong or she was going through something. Also, wished it wasn’t so hot in there. But overall, it was my first time and I took my gf there for her bday so she had fun. Food was great. Loved the red sauce which is rare for me.

   We loved everything but the noise level. Staff was gracious enough to turn down the music blaring directly overhead, but the noise from small children was a lot. Dining is tight, so it can be cramped....they seemed to have the timing of the reservations nearly perfect, though. The first table with crying baby left shortly after we were seated and the ones seated just behind me arrived as we were finishing up.

   We had a lovely evening talking and taking in all the different photos on the wall. We had a lovely waitress who was kind and helpful. The food came out quickly and we were able to enjoy a nice meal in each other’s company.

    This was our first visit. We had the prosciutto stuffed chicken, spicy chicken rigatoni, and chocolate cake for dessert. Will definitely return to check out the rest of the food.

    It was a fun place for out of towers to go! Its in a basement, the energy is fun. The problem is the reservations. It doesn't mean you will have a table at the time you made your reservations...from what I was told, "It only gets you in the door"...then you name goes on a list. It makes ZERO sense...so don't bother with a reservation. Its the only place in the world I've ever made a reservation only to find out the reservation really doesn't mean anything!

    I have been to buca several times and always had a good experience. This time was a little different. It was my birthday and they didn’t do anything to celebrate which they normally do, I believe this was because of our server. She could’ve done better. She was quiet and not very interested in our table. I will still be coming back but I would request another server next time.

    We had a group of 12 and never felt like we were being ignored or neglected. Our server did an excellent job and the food was outstanding. We go to Buca several times a year and have never had bad service.

    We were there for a weekday lunch and the restaurant was nearly empty. So, it was quite quiet. It was our first time at a Buca, and our server was excellent at explaining the dishes and how we could have smaller portions of the dinner for lunch. The food was excellent, also. We would certainly return.

    Horrible service, very overpriced, spaghetti was just a huge bowl of noodles, no sauce, and mushy meatballs. The cost of portion was $42. We will never return to this restaurant.

    There are so many authentic Italian restaurants in KC that would be so much better! My 16 year old picked this place for her birthday so I felt compelled to try it. The food is meh at best. Our server was MIA for most of the meal. It’s a cool location- the saving grace- but that is about it.

    We booked a week in advance for a party of 16 for 630 pm checked in at 6:08 and weren’t seated until 8pm. We watched several parties arrive after us be seated and were told a manager would be up when we questioned why. The manager never came. Our waiter was kind and helpful but our appetizers came out cold. I will not return for a special occasion.

    Came in person and they said there was no tables with out a reservation them Taylor came she’s one of the hostesses and she was rude about it so we left and while drinking out of parking lot I login to the app and made a reservation within 5min then we came back but before we did I spoke to a supervisor due to the inconvenience we encountered when we first came in and the manager just apologized and said that my reservation was confirmed we walked in again and told a guy “hostess” that I just had made a reservation he said there was nothing in the system so I showed him my call before arriving and told him about speaking to the supervisor then we got seated in a table that was extremely wobbly which they mentioned and the server was not nice and friendly at all we told him that we had eaten there once but not the kids 17yrs and 13yr old and he only mentioned the sizes and that was it, I wish I would of have known about the bread because we all order pasta but the server was unfriendly we also tried Fried Calamari and the woman hostess came spoke to us im Spanish and asked us how was the appetizer told her it was chewy and hard and she seemed that everything was okay but no one brought the manager at all. We do not recommend to this restaurant. I do want the manager to call me as soon as possible to discuss this situation.

    Overall good just had a very bad table, was old and kept rocking. The manager came to tell us about the table before they even sat us down and the waitress apologized for the table being so bad. Is not the cheapest dinner which we knew that but to have such a bad cheap table really was disappointing. Food and waitress were very good though. Hope they throw that table away.

    Freezing dining room. Caused a lot of physical pain to members in my party who’s joints hurt in cold temperatures. It felt like the AC was on? Restaurant was virtually empty but the waiter kept quoting delays from the kitchen. Meatballs were still frozen in the middle. Service was slow. I’d hate to see how service is with a packed restaurant.

    My 50th birthday. 12 of us. Food was so good. All of it. Especially the stuffed shells. I did have to wait 20 min for my alcoholic drink. Our table was back by a door and it got pretty chilly. I would love to go back with a smaller group.
