Burrasca is an intimate neighborhood trattoria steeped in the Tuscan soul food of chef-owner and native Florentine Paolo Calamai's roots: rustic, comforting, unfussy, and rich in tradition.

Our menu offers up the beauty and integrity of the best local seasonal ingredients and is supplemented by daily handmade pastas and other specials. Enjoy iconic dishes such as squid inzimino, pappardelle with wild boar, tortelli in duck ragù, spinach and sheep's ricotta gnudi, pappa al pomodoro, and hand-rolled pici with rabbit. Like all good Italians we believe vino has a rightful place at the table and to this end our all-Tuscan wine list reveals affordable delights and surprises to those with a sense of adventure. Burrasca is an ode to terroir and warm Italian hospitality—all tucked into an airy storefront in Southeast Portland. In the warm season our oasis-like garden patio is perfect for al fresco dining.
