Cafe Spice Namaste is back, re-emerging bolder and better than we ever were. Expect many of the Indian culinary classics from the incomparable Cyrus Todiwala, but also some unexpected treats. We are a vibrant neighbourhood restaurant now, perched at the edge of Royal Albert Wharf in the famous Docklands, and we welcome the world to our new home.
We commit to using the best local British produce wherever possible, and always the freshest ingredients. We are proud of our carefully selected, responsible suppliers.

From Gallions Reach DLR (4–5 min walk):Exit the station and turn left at the Co-op, then turn right at the traffic lights onto Gallions Road. Turn left onto Wallis Walk, right onto Shackleton Way, and take an immediate right toward the car park onto Hudson Way. Cross the footbridge directly ahead—we are located exactly on the other side.Travel via the Elizabeth Line:The "Lizzie Line" now makes West London and Bond Street much more accessible. Simply travel to Custom House and switch to the DLR for Gallions Reach; the journey usually takes between 20 and 40 minutes depending on your starting point.Parking and Navigation:If you are using Google Maps or Waze, please enter the postcode E16 2GW to reach Hudson Way. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis with a valid permit. You may park on bays 6–11 during the day, and bays 2–11 after 6 PM. Have been here several times with friends. Food always spectacular. Service friendly and attentive. Deserves all the awards the place has received.

This was an extraordinary experience in every way! The welcome was warm & we felt that we were dining in Cyrus & Pervin Todiwala’s home. We just asked Pervin to feed us as two medium-hungry people who wanted to taste their food about which we had heard so much! We chose two cocktails, their take on a Mule & an Old Fashioned (delicious!) & thereafter we were in Pervin’s hands. What really was striking about the food was the quality of the “hero” of the dish, be it beetroot, duck, lamb, chicken or pork & that it was allowed to sing…the spice/seasoning served to enhance not obliterate. Even with the vindaloo (push aside images of the traditional macho man vindaloo complete with medallion!) you were struck by the delicious tang of the tomato is the sauce & the pork before the warmth came through. Yes, it was hot in the chilli sense but not overwhelming & so flavoursome. The naans were light & pillowy (if there’s such a word!) & everything was mouth-watering. We cannot wait to go back. You must make it a food destination if you are at all serious about your spice. Gallions Reach is not far on the brilliant DLR…. Just Go!!

A fantastic menu, brilliantly executed by the man himself! Cafe Spice offers a dreamy prospect down Victoria Dock - just perfect on a Summers evening. Everyone on the team is so friendly and welcoming and the ambience is great. Well worth making the journey from the City and the Elizabeth Line makes it so much easier. It will not surprise anyone that we enjoyed the whole experience enormously!

Perfect Indian cookery. You can distinguish every subtle flavour. Save room for the home made deserts. The kulfis are the best I’ve tasted anywhere!

The experience was wonderful, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was super welcoming and friendly throughout the dinner. They constantly checked on us, ensuring we were enjoying the food and everything was up to the best standards. Really enjoyed our evening, thank you.

Fantastic meal and outstanding value for the quality. Several real stand out dishes, with lovely staff with the right level of attentiveness and speed of service. We’ve already planned when we can go again.

Everything was super tasty and the portion sizes for each course were plentiful. Such delicious flavours and mixing a macaroni cheese with a curried chicken dish seemed an act of madness but by heaven it was fab! Great atmosphere with Cyrus and Pervin (Mrs T!) are such hosts as were their staff. Just go there and see for yourself!
