We have dined here many times, unfortunately the sirloin steaks were cooked ok but contained lots of fat and sinew which was inedible

Food quite good. Service a bit slow. Many hard surfaces make restaurant noisy and echoey.

We were sent an offer from Carluccio’s of 50% off mains including Sunday roast. We clicked on “book” and completed the form for Sunday late afternoon. After we were seated at the Restaurant in Reading we were given the menus which did not include Sunday roast. We asked for the Sunday roast menu but were informed that their new oven was not yet fitted and so they could not offer Sunday roast. We specifically went there for the advertised roast and were super disappointed. The waiter and the “manageress” both said we were not the first to complain. So our trip to Reading plus parking was a disappointing event instead of the one we looked forward to.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! Luigi was amazing, so friendly, patient, and accommodating. He was especially kind and understanding with our child, who has special needs, and made sure we all felt comfortable and welcomed. His care and kindness really made a difference to our experience. Thank you, Luigi, for going above and beyond and making our visit so special. We truly appreciate it!

Warm and friendly welcome upon our arrival. The food overall was good, sea bass fillets were nicely caramelised with crispy skin. Nice steak and chianti. The seafood linguine however was poor and disappointing with little fish and just two prawns.

It’s not just the food that takes us here almost every week, it’s the staff. They are always helpful friendly and kind.

Waiter who seated us had no personality and was not warm and friendly. He didn’t listen to our order so one main course would have arrived if it wasn’t spotted by the other staff member and then rectified. Food was good but would not visit again.

We had a very enjoyable night listening to opera arias. Fantastic service as always. Feel that they could be a bit more ambitious with their menus, but we realise that this is decided at head office. Will return soon.
