   From beginning to end, the experience was outstanding. Food and drinks were excellent - we couldn’t decide on our favorite. Service was absolutely perfect - we were never waiting and were well taken care of without being interrupted.

   Great food, drinks and service. Food was reminiscent of the tapas we enjoy when we are in Spain. We tried the fried brussel spouts, baked provolone, bang bang style gambas, and potatas bravas. All were wonderful!! Spainsh wine flight and coconut mojito were also excellent choices. LGBTQ+ friendly.

    Wife and I can’t say enough about this place. Our first visit, had a several seafood small plates, tacos, and dessert. Outstanding food, only outdone by exceptional service. We very much look forward to returning soon.

    There was some confusion about our reservation as the couple we were meeting showed up early and did not have my exact first name as it appears on my credit card. Once that was straightened out everything went smoothly. The Brussels Sprouts were excellent. A few of the other dishes like the crab cakes and the market special seemed to have gone down hill since the last time we had them. The $5 glass of wine special was great and service was also very good.

    We never got a chance to get our food. Went on Open Table and made a reservation. When we arrived, they told us they didn’t have a table for us, but could seat us outside with a heater (it was 48degrees). We were annoyed, but hungry. That was the last time we saw anyone from the restaurant. We sat for over 10 minutes without anyone coming to offer us water, or even let us know it would take a minute. The menu looked good, but alas we were cold, hungry and forgotten. After 15 min, we left.

    Cozy, welcoming atmosphere, tasty food and drink. The smoked old fashioned is literally smoked! Crispy pork belly is awesome, as are the crab cakes, and best chocolate mousse ever!

    We walked in at 545 to an empty restaurant for dinner and were seated right in front of the door. The wind and sun blasted with every time it opened and we asked to be moved to any other table as a result. They said every table has reservations and couldn’t accommodate. They were completely unwilling to move us. A party came in later and they were seated at the wrong table by a server. They were then asked to move tables after being there for 10 min. Still, an empty restaurant. We left 15 minutes later in what could have been a much lengthier dinner. Food was good but the ambiance is terrible, both tables including us had to hold up menus to block the blinding sun. Will not be back here.

We have spoken with the entire team responsible for your poor experience and have made changes to staff to better accommodate our guests. We have also replaced the curtain that sits in the top part of the door which is necessary to block the sun when it hits at that angle.     Great little tapas joint in a strip mall. Very small and quaint. To die for tapas. We had Brussel sprouts ,provolente, shrimp and grits, tacos and empanadas. Chocolate brownie moose dessert is a must! Nice Spanish wine flight too. 3 reds and a cava. Will definitely be back.

    Yes, it was Valentine's day and I knew we would be outside. But it also said heaters on the website. Other tables had heaters, but not ours. Also was seated by the door and got bumped like 10 times. The food was ok but nothing special. Also, we had to tell one waiter 5 times we were NOT done with a plate of food that still had lots of food on it. Kind of a letdown for Valentine's Day. Should have just stayed home.

It is important as well to make sure that the heaters are at a safe distance from the table to prevent tip-over mishaps. We do apologize for your server's attempts to clear your table too soon.

    Great service and food always!! This is a very small place and it’s very crowed and noisy so if looking for an intimate table this is not the place for you especially on a busy night. Much like the crowed NEw York restaurants for example. But for a fun night to talk to your next table mates and have great food you will enjoy it. Lots of bigger and more spacious outside table when it’s warmer to try out. Again, always great food and service!!

    Great Valentine's dinner! everything was delicious and it was beautiful outside considering it is mid Feb, but it was a delightful night weatherwise. it is nice and quiet outside, we had a great time! Great service.

    Everything was great excerpt for one thing that was totally unexpected. We made a reservation for 4 people at 8pm. The resteraient changed it through open table to 7:45 with no explanation, which was totally fine with us. We showed up on time and ate through our first round of tapas and had a lovely bottle of wine. We ordered a second bottle of wine and then a waitress (not the person who had been waiting on us) showed up with a check. We informed her we were not finished and wanted to order more food. It was roughly 8:45. She told us they had an event at 9pm and we’d have to leave. This was not advertised, no one told us this until now, and there was no message on open table when they changed our reservation time. We didn’t get to eat until we were satisfied. We left hungry. We also had almost all of our second bottle of wine left to drink. We ended up going somewhere else for dessert.

    Started off strong with a great greeting from hostess, we were early and she was kind and we got drinks at bar and sat outside, well she had our table cleaned super fast so we sat early on a very busy night. We had a nice bus person who met us with a smile and told us it was his first night. He was super personable and very fast with anything we requested. We hope he does well. We had many servers because everyone is helpful. There were four of us and we just kept ordering. They were out of a few things, but that did not matter the other food was exceptional. The food was delicious and the servers had great suggestions. The wine selection is also very good. It is loud, but I like the energy and you are very close to your neighbors but it was fine. They had a performer, he was very good and didn't overpower the room. We had a wonderful time and I cannot recommend it enough.

    Brussel sprouts were AMAZING! We tried Catalan out for Triangle Restaurant week and were really pleased with everything we sampled. Will definitely go back again.

    Great food and service. Small, cozy place, so seating is limited, but during warmer weather the outdoor seating is nice.

    This place is fantastic. Feels like a little hole in the wall kind of spot in the back of a strip center but then you open the door and it’s packed, has a cool vibe, a bar and a 2 piece jazz band playing. Service is great. Food is great. Saw a few reviews saying tapas are expensive. Yes tapas are pricey. If you don’t like that go to Denny’s.

    My wife and I were very excited to finally get an evening to try Catalan. The food was very good, the staff was outstanding and worked well as a team, and the jazz band was a nice touch. There was an issue with our reservation, but hopefully that was an exception and not the norm.

    Tapas is always a bit expensive, but I do think they are a bit overpriced. There was live music, and the restaurant is small, so it was difficult to have a conversation. Our waitress seemed new and a bit overwhelmed.
