   It took over an hour to get our food! We were there at lunch time, on a Thursday. The restaurant only had about 20 tables open, the rest was dead empty. And yet they somehow couldn’t serve lunch in an efficient manner. Our server was very kind though, and she took care of the entire bill. A free lunch was nice, but an efficient one would have been better. Won’t be back!

   Our appointment was at 11:00 (which we made online in case of lineups). When we received our breakfast we had no butter on our toasts but we asked and someone quickly got us some. Good coffee. The food could have been much hotter. We like a nice hot breakfast.

    I really enjoy the vibe at Central and the staff is awesome. They always have such great cocktails and love that they are always adding new favourties. Right now I am obsessed with the Buffalo Chicken Bowl. I love wings so a great way to make a meal of them and such a great value! Also, not a desert person but can't say no to the Nutella Mason Jar Cheesecake YUM!

    Going to Central Social Hall is a staple for my group of friends every weekend, It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Jasper Avenue in Downtown Edmonton. The service is unmatched,The management and staff truly cares about your dining experience.

    There were 5 of us that went for lunch. The service and food were not that great. When we received our food, the server never checked in to see how everything was. Two of my colleagues food was served cold. We tired to find a server to let her know and she was never to be found. We had to let the gentleman at the bar know and he ended up comping the food. He was also very apologetic.

    I went there with my 3 girlfriends to ask them to be my bridesmaids! I had asked for some sparklers and a bottle of Giggkewater (sparking wine) to be brought to table then I’d ask them! Michael the manager on that day and our server and another lady made it absolutely spectacular! My gfs were so surprised! Michael took a video of it on his phone then sent it to me! My friends were sooo surprised and felt so special! Thank you! And my surprise was that Michael bought it first bottle of sparkling wine! The mimosas were amazing and the wings were delicious! Always a fantastic time at Central Social Hall!!! Thank you for making the memory so amazing for me and my bridesmaids (they said YES!!!) 💞

    I was easily able to book a reservation. We arrived and they were quickly able to set us on the patio. We had the Vizzy lemonade bucket (a great deal - $23 fir four drinks). I had the Backyard burger with extra patty and lettuce wrapped. It was quite tasty though a little overcooked. The fries were very tasty. My wife had 2 piece fish with yam fries, and both were very good.

    Excellent food and nice touch with the placecard recognizing the occasion and special desert on the house for the retiree. We especially appreciate that the noise level was quiet enough to have a group conversation and no loud music. My only disapointment was that the back patio wasn't open for lunch and only the front patio facing 109 St was was too noisy for us with the traffic.

    Lunch was for 3 people, and we ordered 4 appetizers and 3 entrées. First app was the Shrimp Gyoza with a generous filling of shrimps and that was delicious, second was the Spicy Maple Brussels, it was so crispy and that was equally good as the gyoza, third was the Blistered Shishito Peppers and that was average, not spicy at all and paried well with the sauce, and fourth was the Korean Style BBQ Beef Short Ribs, this was seasoned well, however it was so chewy, hard to chew and it was even hard to cut with a knife, it was our least favorite. First entrée was the shakshuka and I thought there was just too much tomatoes with only 2 egg yolks and 4 small slices of pita bread, second entrée was the Italian Sausage and Mushroom Skillet, this was also okay, too much potatoes, not enough mushrooms and barely any Italian Sausage, third entrée was the Croque Madame, this was our favorite, perfect amount to bechamel sauce, cheese with a crispy bacon and a fried egg on top and the potatoes that came with it was super extra cripsy, which we liked. We also received complementary Hosue-Made Doughnuts, and those were freaking amazing! Overall, for what we ordered, I thought it was overpriced.
