   What a wonderful place for a special date night! The food was phenomenal, our server was extremely helpful and gave too-notch recommendations. My only suggestion is to not order too much because their portions are adequate to the price. You definitely get the best bang for your buck.

   Celebrated our daughter’s 25th birthday. Food is always amazing, whatever you order, there is no doubt about that, what was missing yesterday was our waitress’s attention towards us. Appetizer’s, champagne bottle and food came promptly but we were half way done with our main course and our wine was nowhere in sight… I tried to seek her out but between her chatting with other customers and never looking at our table she was clueless of our need. She finally came close and I called on her to ask about our wine and she looked stunned -like she had forgotten-, but said she would figure it out… she came back, apologized and she offered “if we wanted” she would take it off our bill…. That was awkward, you make it right all by yourself, you don’t ask the customer! After that it was all slowwww, I asked for our cake and she asked if we wanted plates… (?) we left as soon as we could get out of there which was a pity because it was our guests first visit.

   Cesarina is amazing! It was a busy night and we were running very late due to traffic. They moved our 6 pm reservation to 6:30 and were extremely understanding, even though the restaurant was already packed! The food is always amazing and the waiters are kind and super helpful.

   This was me and my fiancés first time dining at Cesarina. It was a wonderful experience everything from the tasty food , the excellent Service and Beautiful ambience, this was in my opinion a perfect date. I am very excited to go back.

   The waitress was super helpful to my nieces in navigating the menu. The waitress was very mindful of food allergies and offered tasty alternatives. The food was excellent and the ambiance was divine. Highly recommend.

   Had lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday who had never eaten at Cesarina's before. We were doing so on my recommendation so I was a little nervous that she would all would go well. WE HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL LUNCH. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AS ALWAYS AND OUR SERVER "BRITTNEY" WAS OFF THE CHARTS IN FRIENDLINESS, KNOWLEDGE OF EVERY ITEM OFFERED, AND WOULD BE ONE OF THE REASON I WOULD COME AGAIN. We have never been disappointed (except for maybe the parking) but if you are from the area you know to expect that. Cesarina's is a jewel in our town PL/OB and we are so lucky to have it here. Thanks for making my friends lunch the special occasion it was. Would and have recommended it to any one I know. THANKS AGAIN.

    The gnochi with shrimp truffles was VERY VERY good, but only 4 small shrimp! Unfortunately, their prices will keep me from visiting very frequently. The outdoor seating was a bit uncomfortable (bench). Service, as always was excellent.

    Dopo 2 settimane di cucina prettamente americane abbiamo avuto il grande piacere di venire a cenare da Cesarina. Tutto il personale si è mostrato molto professionale ma soprattutto di una gentilezza unica. Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene gli antipasti presentati in modo ineccepibile erano gustosi le pappardelle cotte al punto giusto e mantecate alla perfezione La qualità di questo ristorante smentisce tutte quelle persone che dicono che non potrai mai mangiare nei ristoranti italiani all’estero come da noi. Anzi vi assicuro che da Cesarina si mangia meglio che in tantissimi nostri ristoranti. Ma la cosa che non dimenticherò che Cesarina ci ha obbligato ad assaggiare il loro tiramisù,gentilmente da lei offerto,….ancora me lo sogno per la delicatezza e soprattutto per la semplicità per come era stato fatto al contrario di tanti ristoranti che ci aggiungono altri ingredienti Connazionali e abitanti di San Diego se siete da quelle parti non perdete l’occasione di mangiare veramente bene

    Party of 6 we sat outside front patio and even though it was cool out we were all very comfortable. The service was outstanding and every dish we ordered delicious! This restaurant makes everything so fresh and though I have eaten here at least 10x it never feels repetitive- they change up the menu with plenty of specials and seasonal dishes. Highly recommend Cesarina (pronounced 'Cheserina' I just learned that ;-))

    All in all a just fine restaurant. Will we go back? Probably not, and will dine at other restaurants we haven't been to yet. Hit of the evening was the initial bread and dipping sauce. Just a killer. We then ordered the Caprese Invernale. Tomatoes were fresh and ripe right off the vine, and the burrata was fresh and beautiful. Lovely salad! For our main courses, the baked pasta of the evening was lasagna, and my wife ordered it. It was OK. The style was a bit more cheesy than we cared for, but OK. I ordered the Spaghetti Scoglio. Again it was OK, just seemed to need a little something to make it a dish that I would tell others about, or order again. Service was energetic, but fine. Outside dinning in the parking lot was nice. Parking can be a challenge, so plan on that.

    Amazing food and excellent service. My only complaint, and this is a problem in just about every restaurant, is how high the noise level is, even outside. I miss the days of quiet dining spaces.

    Went here to celebrate our 8th Wedding Anniversary and couldn't have chosen a better place. The food, ambiance, service was all impeccable. Every pasta is homemade and perfectly cooked. And the octopus appetizer was out of this world. Highly recommend! What made this night extra special is that they pay attention to the commends when reserving a table. From the check in desk, to the bus and wait service, all wished us a Happy Anniversary upon arrival and then ended the night with a tableside tirimasu that was to die for. Never had a had a tirimasu made in front of me and so fresh!

    We are traveling and came here for my birthday. The food was all delicious. Laura was an incredible server and the entire staff was amazing! We had our dogs with us. The tiramisu and Polaroid photo really made our meal special. If we are ever back in OB, we will be coming here!

    We loved Cesarina! The service was outstanding from start to finish. The food was delicious. We started with 2 appetizers, the burrata and the pulpo. We were 4 people and shared 3 main plates, 2 pasta dishes and the fish. The portions are very sharable. Our main server was Brittany and she was a delight and very helpful. We were celebrating a special occasion and they went out of their way to make us feel special.
