   As soon I walked in, my girlfriend and I were blown away by the view, color palette and ambiance of the restaurant. We we even more blown away by the service and quality of food. When ordering dessert, they even customized it to say happy anniversary. I have already recommended it to my friends! It is a seriously amazing place, and I would not hesitate to go again.

   Food was okay. Not blown away by the cod. We had octopus and oysters as an app. Hubby had filet mignon and it was ok. Very pricey in the end, but not impressed. Average food.

   This restaurant always has consistent great food and service! Oh and what a view. We had the price fixed option. We selected the amazing octopus and salad to start. Main course selection was Black Cod and Pork chop. You will not be disappointed. The only complaint I have of this restaurant is the server (2x now) does not alert you that 20% service charge is included in the bill. And when you close out it just has the total and tip line. It does not even say additional tip. This is wrong. I am a very good tipper and always give a generous extra tip when he/she alerts me of the 20% included in the bill.

   We celebrated our 2 year anniversary with breakfast here. We got a table with a beautiful view of the city and water, the service was amazing! The waitress was always checking in on us, refilling drinks as needed. Food was tasty and portion size was great. Overall a great experience!

   The space is incredible with great expansive views of the sound! The ambience is very calming and relaxing, setting up for a great brunch and to observe the sunrise smitten Olympic mountains!

    The view is incredible. The octopus was fire but the portion was a little small. The filet mignon meal was perfect. The potato purée over spinach that came with it was delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

    Food, decor, view and above all service (thank you Daniel!) were well above standard. The chef and staff clearly care about the product and experience and it shows. Attention to detail with plating, appropriate portions and strong cocktails were highlights for us. Daniel was a professional; clearly knew the menu, offered insight and made our experience that much more memorable.

    It must have been a busy morning as not only myself but the patrons waiting behind me had to flag a waitress down to check in. Then after she said she would get someone, we had to wait ten more minutes for a second person, a hostess to come and ask my name and check for my reservations. Then I waited a few more minutes and then another server came to ask my name and my reservation. Then I finally go sat. While seated I waited patiently for about 15 minutes and had to flag someone down to ask them to get my server. Once I got my server, I just put all my order in at once. It was not busy as the morning rush was over and for the amontt of servers there vs patrons, it should have been better service. I ordered the bloody mary and it was legitimately delicious. The Dungeness Crab toast was bland at best but plentiful. I was at Charlotte about two nights prior for a dinner date and the ambience and service was good. Despite my bad experience I have a reservation for this coming Sunday the 13th and for Wednesday the 15th. The location and view is great. I just need the service and food to match expectations. Regardless, I still tipped my servers 20% but it was undeserved.

    For anyone that doesn’t like seafood taste or smell on their salad don’t order the grilled broccoli salad Also the crab pasta wasn’t that great it has a distinct flavor and taste that makes it smell

    We enjoyed the 4-course prix-fixe menu. Every dish was tasty; except a roasted squash bisque was a bit dissapointment. The downtown night view was nice along with the live elegant music. Thank you for the glasses of champange to wrap up our wonderful anniversary dinner.

    Excellent service, view, interesting and tasty food, what more is there? We'll be back, next time with friends. On the night we dinned there, we loved the live music duo. Charlotte is walking distance to the 5th Avenue theatre, very nice for ticket holders looking for a nice place to dine ahead of the show.

    Beautiful dining area with exceptional city and waterfront views! The food was excellent, well presented and delicious. Would have preferred additional a salad option or two, but the only way to enjoy a salad would have been on the prix fixe menu, and that one didn't have a vegetarian option for the main entree.

    Dined for NYE- it was a very unique event with a string quartet playing Prince & Queen, DJ/Dancing afterwards and the perfect way to ring in the new year. Food/cocktails were delicious, service was top-notch, and the ambiance was amazing!

    I was really looking forward to dining at Charlotte for a while. My husband and I are true foodies and sadly we were a bit disappointed by our dishes. We did the Prix Fixe dinner and weren’t really impressed. Though the roasted squash bisque was quite delightful. My octopus smelt far too fishy and was burnt. The Foie Gras was just okay I wasn’t crazy about the preparation. Unfortunately the black cod was just pretty basic. It wasn’t great and it wasn’t awful. But the Lemon Yuzu tart was divine. The ambiance and service was excellent as well as the cocktails. I love the vibe of the space and will definitely go back for drinks in the lounge but that’s about it. The presentations of the dishes were gorgeous so I guess that’s a plus.

    We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and the views out of the restuarant were pretty on a clear winter night, but... First of all, the noise out of the lounge was deafening. So the first hour of the dining experience was less than peaceful -- even though the dining room side of the floor was almost empty. Second, the waitstaff was of mixed experience. Roles did not seem to be clearly defined. Imagine having to ask for the wine list! Third, because the bar was packed, the elapsed time to be served a cocktail was excessive. Does this restaurant want diners or is this really a bar scene? Fourth, this restaurant is expensive for the sake of expensive. We chose the fixed menu for the table (required), knowing it was the most expensive item on the menu -- but then the meal was less than exceptional. There were two choices for each course and they didn't relate to one another very well. Moreover, there was no reason the fixed menu had to be required for the full table -- it was not the case that there were so many additional courses that the table would have being taken up by one party for an excessive period of time that justified the uplift in price. Last, the wine list was a joke. It wasn't a particularly deep or noteworthy selection. One of our guests, who is a chef and restaurant owner himself, he noted that there were bottles that wholesale for $9 and were on the list priced at $100! Shameful. In all, we would not dine here again. It might be great as a cocktail scene, but it insults a fine diner with the pretension of 5-star experience.

    The view of Seattle, the cocktails and our waiter were amazing! Unfortunately, we found the meal pretty bland. We went for the Prix Fixe menu, typically this is several small courses that are plated beautifully. The portions were enormous, we could barely eat 1/2 of the food that was served.

    The food was /almost/ perfect. I hadn't heard of this restaurant until recently, but I've been wanting to try it out. We went here on a Friday night, and it was pretty slow - maybe 5-6 parties in the whole place. First off - the drinks are fantastic. They're punny, and well balanced. I want to find the bartender and make them my friend. We each ordered the prix fixe menu, so we had a lot of things to try. The octopus was cooked and grilled perfectly. The cauliflower soup was fresh tasting with great texture. I am not a "put salt on everything" person, but my wife and I were unanimous in determining that this soup needed seasoning. I'm not sure if the chef was going for an ultra-fresh taste, or they forgot, but it was just a minor issue. The shredded vegetable and crab salad had a perfect balance of citrus to go with the crab - except they forgot to put the crab in the salad. We looked for it for a while before flagging down the waiter and asking. He quickly retreated to the kitchen and brought out some bowls of crab for us, and we were saved. Main courses were perfectly cooked pork chop (sliced thin), and halibut - cooked perfectly all the way through. Desserts too, were well balanced, flavorful, and not too sweet. Overall, *pretty* good, and we had a fantastic time. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back and give it another shot.
