   The food was absolutely lovely. We ordered the chicken tagine and the mixed grill, which were both delicious. One small thing is that I was disappointed when I ordered the 'fresh orange juice' from the menu only to receive juice from a carton... the word 'fresh' should really be removed from the menu unless the restaurant plans to start juicing some oranges right there and then, it's a bit misleading.

   Arrived with email booking. Waitress denied knowledge of booking. Begrudgingly shown to table. Food served before drinks. Had to ask twice again for drinks. Food ok. Service poor

   Lovely restaurant and staff. Toilets need a revamp, my husband ordered chicken which was very dry. I had mezzo for one, the falafel was very hard and the cheese pastry was also tough in texture. Good wine. On the way out I noticed a specials menu which we weren’t offered. Not planning on returning.

   Food was good, service ok, but the toilets were disgusting all out of order apart from two and was dirty, at least the ones that are open keep clean.

   lovely interesting food in a large area with quirky decorations. The service was a bit patchy but friendly. We enjoyed our special night out for my husbands birthday.

   Firstly, the service was good, and the venue is really great. However, the food is overpriced. The set sharing menus serve up a tiny plate with shared dips and a small main course ( i chose the fish, and it was like a £3 fillet I could buy in Tescos. This is very different from the Comptoir Libanais I went to in London and feels more like a low-budget chain.

   We were going to The Forum theatre and the Comptoir Libanais was nearly opposite, so I booked early for 6. The booking system was excellent and I was sent a reminder, which I like. The decor was a wonderful surprise and the service was very pleasant. The meal was delicious and very reasonably priced. It was quiet when we arrived and the service could have been a bit speedier (as we were off to the theatre but otherwise , I am more than happy to recommend it.

    They've *finally* found the dimmer switch for the previously over lit canteen, however the economies have rendered the tagines unrecognisable with meatballs not pieces of meat, and barely any sauce/marinade sadly. I would have preferred the price to increase instead.

    Robotic service, no authentic welcome, or even a smile. The food was OK, so long as you don't expect freshly grilled, hot meat. The seasonal rice pudding was overcooked, warm, watery, and translucent, although the spiced fruit compote on top was delicious, it was insufficient to save the dish. I get the sense that this is a chain not focused on quality control.

    The food is amazing. With the fist bite it took us to a middle east country. The service is super friendly, the location is perfect and everything clean. I'll recommend it and I'll come back again.

    Arrived at resto at booking time of 20:00 and after waiting at the entrance for 2 mins with no sign of anyone to seat us and being ignored went to sit down. Finally the hostess noticed us and told that they were no longer serving. When we said that we had booked via Open Table she said “oh what 5 mins ago” (it had been 3 hours previously). She ungraciously went to check with kitchen and said that they were not serving. She was very rude. We left. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

    The food was amazing and the setting was spacious but friendly with an abundance of colour and warmth! The servers were happy and attentive! Lovely restaurant- can’t wait to revisit!

    Booked in a bit a rush as we were see Roman baths and went here after. Got Ro restaurant 30mins early but sat down straight away, waitress was brilliant. Good came out quick and very hot just right for us and was gorgeous and was cheaper than thought would have been. Excellent restaurant would go again if in bath area.

    The Lebanese food was excellent! My son, husband and I had mezzes toe start with then mains. All were interesting and tasty. My husband enjoyed the chicken salad with a delicious dressing, my son had the lamb burger and it filled him up and I had the lamb tagine dish with rice which was a real treat. The service was initially slow but when we explained that we had a concert to go to, I cannot fault it at all.

    I love comptoir! This was the first time visiting Bath but wow how disappointed we were conpared to your restaurants in London. Waiters and managers were completely uninterested, disengaged and quite frankly rude. Food was wonderful as usual, thanks to your hard working chefs! Please get your act together and go and spend a day training with your London colleagues on what customer service is.

    Service was quick to begin and drinks offered straight away. The dips starter was tasty and plenty to share between two. The mains quickly followed (possibly too quickly) The lamb tagine was tasty and flavourful but you would expect a larger serving for £12. The lamb kofta was more proportional to the price. The restaurant had filled quickly which meant that trying to pay became an issue, the staff were turning away customers at the door, while we waited to pay... A tasty but expensive quick dinner

    THIS WAS OUR FOURTH VISIT AND SO FAR WE HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND WE WERE SERVED BY A CHARMING FRENCH LADY WHO ASSISTED US GREATLY IN OUR MENU CHOICES.IT IS GRATIFYING TO FIND A YOUNG PERSON TAKING SO MUCH PRIDE IN HER WORK AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE CUTOMER'S OVERALL ENJOYMENT.WE SHALL DEFINITELY RETURN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

    Why is service at Comptoir Libanais always hit or miss. Service was patchy and took well over 20 mins to just order drinks after being seated, which then took another 20mins just to make a coffee and drinks. Offsetting this, food is typically always good!
