   We came on Saturday for a pre-theatre meal and despite being busy (with a new chef), service was pretty good and the staff were very friendly. We thought the food was delicious and I shall certainly eat at a Comptoir Libanais again.

   Nice dining experience with three friends. Veggies well catered for and very reasonably priced. Specials mixed chicken plate was very good value and well received.

   Tasty food - my batatas harra starter was a little underwhelming as it was really just a bowl of little wedges but was served with a bit of spicy sauce. My sons enjoyed their chicken samboussek which they compared to mini chicken pasties. My main was the halloumi and aubergine wrap which came with a huge pile of salad - perfect dressing and a fair sprinkling of parsley - and hummous. This is something I would definitely order again. My sons each had the lamb and halloumi burger which came with mini buckets of spiced fries, and seemed very happy with that. The only reason I haven't given more stars is because the coffee machine had broken down and so I couldn't have a hot drink - possibly they should invest in an electric kettle as I wanted a cup of tea but had to make do with a glass of water instead. An enjoyable meal and I would happily eat there again.

    Was very disappointed with this place the hoummus and baba ganoush was tasteless, the mixed grill had a funny flavour to the meat which was minced and formed on to skewers, the cous cous salad tasted wet like it had been there for ages in the fridge, my Husband asked for a pint of beer which was on the menu after paying dear for a bottle which he didn't rate to be told we don't do pints which was clearly on the menu. They added a large service charge, though the girls were lovely who attended to us. Thumbs down apart from the service.

    Turned up to booking only to be told there was no booking despite having an email from open table to confirm. Had to basically complain out way to a table. Had tried calling in advance to update no.s and no call back. Poorly managed and if booking using open table would recommend calling them ASAP to make sure they have the booking

    Great good, really good for a healthy choice. I love the grills and Rose lemonade. Love the ambiance in here transports you away from cold wet Birmingham!! Highly recommended ⭐

    Visited this restaurant on a weekday lunchtime. Whilst it is situated in the Grand Central shopping centre, the interior design and layout gives it a nice ambience and you could easily be sitting in a restaurant located abroad. We were surprised how quite the restaurant was for a lunchtime in a big city, perhaps three other tables occupied, maybe the ongoing impact of the covid situation. Service was attentive with the waiter recommending some of the non alcoholic drinks which made a nice change. Food was nicely prepared and tasty, portions were average sized. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

    Totally unexpected visit after coming off the train. The restaurant looks stunning late at night and reminded me of being in the streets of maruschka. The mezze was outstanding with a real mix of Lebanese and common Arabic style cuisines mixed into one. It was a real treat dinning here in comparison to the typical Italian and India’s Cuisines around. Look forward to our next time coming through Birmingham

    We were in town, decided to have Dinner and were drawn in by the lovely colourful decor and delicious looking food displayed in the cabinets. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful, we'd never eaten here before and they were keen that we had a good experience - which we did, and then some! We opted for fairly light dishes as we had more stuff to do. We will definitely visit again, probably in the late evening so we can be more leisurely and spend more time trying different dishes.... though we did manage to squeeze in a cheeky Baklawa!!
